Immaculately clean RV park. Quiet, not packed. Friendly front desk manager. Gift shop was cool too! Roswell is a bit quirky but thoroughly enjoyed it. Loved seeing all of the aliens all over town. Would definitely go back! Had a great time. 👽
Good spot if you need a quick overnight. The new owners are working hard to make this great place. They were very friendly and called us the day we were checking in to see if we needed a late check in or anything. The bathrooms were incredibly clean, better than I’ve seen at most campgrounds. There aren’t really any amenities other than the standard laundry and bathrooms. We didn’t check out the clubhouse. The site was nice and level. The only drawback is that there is a farm nearby and the smell can be overwhelming if you aren’t ready for it. You most definitely will not want to open your windows. This isn’t the owners fault though.
Morgan and John (and all of the staff) have been superb! The RV spots are spacious and level, it’s quiet at night, and it’s safe. There is a playground for small kids. Cornhole, billiards, ping pong, connect 4, and other games. There is an outdoor sitting area with cool-water misters running during the day to keep you cool if you want to sit on the patio off of the clubhouse. The bath houses are clean. Morgan and John add such a personal touch to check-in, they hold socials, and you see them walking around the Park. I highly recommend staying here if you’re in Roswell!!
Friendly staff at check in. Took us directly to our site and helped spot the RV. Restrooms / showers were clean and the hot water was hot. Nice sized spots each with a picnic table and hook ups. We were there on a Saturday to Sunday stay. Got a little noisy in the evening due to a racetrack nearby. No really an issue in the camper.
We stayed here for 3 nights during a winter storm in February 2022. The owners, new since November 2021, were very friendly and accommodating. The sites are level with full hook-ups. We had a concrete patio with a nice picnic table. We had great Wi-Fi and cell coverage. Bathrooms were clean with soap and paper towels. Showers warm. Nice, inexpensive laundry ($2 wash, $1.50 dry). Well maintained park. They also sell propane on-site. Don't pass this up!
Our family had a wonderful stay at Trailer Village. Jon and Morgan are very kind, friendly and care about the well-being of their guests. With our kids being homeschooled and me working remotely, I really appreciated the wi-fi working smoothly during our visit. Roswell is a really interesting town to explore and it was an enjoyable experience for our family. We would definitely recommend this location for people visiting Roswell. Best wishes for continued success! The Edwards
It is 11pm and the RV Park is near a speedway. All I've heard for 4 hours plus is extreme LOUD race cars driving in a circle. I have a 8 hour drive tomorrow. If I'd known there was going to be this much noise I'd have roughed it in the desert. FOUR AND HALF HOURS NOW AMD NO STOP TO THE NOISE - AND NO SLEEP
This little park has all a traveler could want. It close to restaurants, gas stations and museums. It is also reasonably priced. The owner, Debbie, is a gem. She was friendly and helpful and made us feel special. Trailer Village Park is dog friendly and the grounds are well kept. The bath and laundry rooms are clean and well maintained; everything works! Also there is a nice souvenir shop in the office. Our travels with our dogs in New Mexico has been problematic because there are so many goat heads everywhere. In the other parks we stayed we were constantly picking them out of our poor dogs’ feet. For those of you unfamiliar, they are a weed that produce seeds with thorns long enough to penetrate shoes, bicycle tires and dog’s feet. They are treacherous. To find them in this park is a rare occasion as her groundskeeper has done a bang-up job of eradicating them. I read about train sounds in other reviews of this park and let me tell you they are off in the distance, not right next door. I rather enjoyed the sound. Also they come by once or twice during the day. If the trains run by at night I didn’t hear them. The only thing that rubbed me slightly the wrong way was if you want to check out sooner than scheduled you won’t get a refund. Having said that, if it was my park I would do the same thing. It is a business after all. Come here, stay and enjoy, you won’t regret it.…
Not sure why some have reported bad experiences here. Ours was exceptionally good. The owners clearly spend a lot of time and effort trying to keep everything clean, neat and in working order. We drove by a few other parks in town - this is definitely the best of them. A few sites have some shade, but most do not. One big plus is that there is a very good WiFi system installed that does support streaming. We would stay here again.
I called the morning we were coming to Roswell. The woman who answered the phone told me they had 2 spots available, a back-in spot with no shade that was $10 cheaper or a pull through with shade. I told her I definitely wanted the shady spot since it was predicted to be 102 degrees. When I came a few minutes before 5pm (closing), we took our envelope and went to the spot, NO SHADE. We went back immediately to the office and the owner said she never told me there was shade, there was only a spot I would have to unhitch my car with shade. She said she only realized I wouldn’t fit in the other shady spot later which is patently untrue, I told her what size trailer I was pulling on the phone. Meanwhile, there were several pull through spots reserved with cones that were shady and no one there….,HORRIBLE customer service…
