We stayed during the summer for my birthday and the staff and management were very courteous and helpful. The king room that we had was clean but old. The property is very old and the wooden benches outside the rooms (on the balcony) are very flimsy. For the price of the room/stay I expected the property to be nicer. It was pleasant that the river was right outside our room and there was a nice lawn for frisbee, horseshoes, etc.

Thank you for the review! Alpine Lodge was established in 1953 and has been a historic landmark in Red River ever since. Our lodge sits on 4 acres of private property with the river running down one side of the property and Main Street on the other making a great walk anywhere location with some of the best mountain town amenities. Since taking over ownership in late 2017 we have been making huge strides in upgrading our lodge with newer amenities and updates to our rooms and have many more planned in the future. We hope to see you again!

I can't say enough good things about this place. Affordable, clean, professional... This was our second trip to the Alpine Lodge- Both experiences were nothing less than perfect. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean! The beds were comfortable, the view were awesome, and I liked how convenient the location was- The staff is friendly and professional each time we've interacted with them, I enjoyed that they took time out of their day to talk to me and my daughter and our friends both the second time and the first time. They really do care about their guest and pay attention to detail. The river is right next to the facility, they have grilles and patios to accommodate guest, and the balcony view was awesome.

We stayed here for six nights in a A Frame cabin with loft. It was very nice for a family of five. The youngest slept on the futon type couch but it was very comfortable. It was about. the price of a decent hotel room. We would have had to get two hotel rooms. Plus this gave us lake access and the ability to eat at the resort as it had a kitchenette. We also rented a boat for an afternoon on the lake. The only complaint is there wasnt a lot of power outlets and lighting wasnt the best. It wasnt really an huge issue though, we made due. There was a very nice pool and a nice little dock with lake swimming. The kids enjoyed both the lake and pool swimming. The family that owns the resort was very friendly and when I called to ask about a stuffed animal that was left willingly mailed the stuffed animal back to. Us. If we come to Branson again we will be staying here again. The resort is within ten minutes of both Branson and West Branson. It is basically night next to Silver Dollar City. We could see the fireworks from Midnight Madness. We ouuuld also hear the train whistle if we sat out on the deck. Very convenient and reasonably priced.

This is a review of their “economy” room, which goes for over $130. This room was really run down and had only the very minimal essentials. The good: - Front desk is helpful and friendly - Location is good if you want to be near the ski slopes or the river - Fairly clean - Trailer parking (<16’) Not-so-good: - No updates (apart from the TV) since apparently when it was built in the 60’s or 70’s). Not just rustic, but very worn out and dated carpeting, furniture, fixtures - Room was very cramped for 2 people - Bed had a worn out memory foam mattress that had very little support. - No A/C, and temps were in the 80s there while we were there—even hotter in the room (maybe you can ask for a fan?) - No desk, table, or even a chair to sit in to eat or hang out - No microwave or fridge for your leftovers - Cable comes in very fuzzy - Check out is 10am, instead of the industry standard of 11 - Owner seems very easy to anger, even for very basic requests (read Google and TA reviews) - Very strict cancellation policy - Trailer parking is very far from the rooms I’d say spend the extra $20 for a suite, but they were going for over $200 when I was there, and I had to draw the line. Bottom line: Unless you need to be right by the ski slopes, Best Western has updated rooms, comfortable beds, A/C, a table to sit at, fridge/micro, solid internet and cable, and a free breakfast. BW is closer to the market and the sit-down restaurants. They also excel at customer service., and if you have any extraordinary circumstances, you can reach out to the corporate office). I usually like supporting family-owned businesses, and I am not super picky about the accommodations, but add to that the owner has a history of abusive behavior, I just don’t want to support that (again).

Thank you for the review! Alpine Lodge offers 20 unique room accommodations. These can range from our basic hotel queen room up to a 4 bedroom condo. These accommodations can include fireplaces, balconies, kitchens, multiple bedrooms, and more! Alpine Lodge sits on 4 acres of private property and includes a private park, private river access, at the Main Lift, and right on Main Street making our location one of the best in Red River for sure! Our queen hotel rooms are our more basic rooms and do not have mini fridges at this time, which is a project that was in the works before the current COVID-19 situation which has hit Red River hard and unfortunately has made us stop some of the additions we had planned for the offseason. All other rooms, however, do come with a mini-fridge and other units that come with full kitchens. We do provide a microwave in our lobby for guests to use during our office hours. We do follow the same policies that most of the other lodges in Red River have when it comes to cancelations and check out times. Though, Alpine Lodge is one of the only lodges that offer a cancelation guarantee for an additional price which guarantees a 90% refund no matter what the reason for cancelation is as long as it is canceled more than 3 days before arrival. Alpine Lodge sees approximately 20,000 guests a year, and with that, unfortunately, comes with a couple of strained interactions. It is never fun for us as a team. Here at Alpine and other hospitality companies, you would be surprised at the situations we have to handle. Most are great interactions and some not so much. There are always two sides to these interactions. Our team faces confrontations due to all sorts of reasons but most are resolved with no problems while others simply cannot. Alpine Lodge was established in 1953 and has been an icon in Red River ever since. Since taking over new ownership in November of 2017 we have made huge strides in updating our rooms and grounds and still have some great upgrades we are working towards.

We were looking forward to a nice stay given the 4-5 star reviews. We were sadly disappointed. The Alpine Lodge is run down and the bed was so soft we felt like we had fallen into a canyon or became a taco every night we went to bed, except the night my husband slept on the beaten down futon in the kitchen. Space around the bed was so tight there was not enough room to set it on the luggage stand. The only thing this Lodge has going for it is the grass next to the river. Don’t stay here if you want a decent night’s sleep.

We are sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your stay. As a family-owned and operated business, we work hard to give guests the best experience possible but know there are always ways to improve. The 1 Bedrooms Suites are some of our most popular and sought after rooms. Room 25 has had some recent updates to the room and we have more updates planned in the future. We were not made aware of any issues with the bed before your stay and we appreciated your feedback about the bed the morning you checked out. We would encourage all guests to let us know of any issues during their stay as soon as they arise so we can quickly resolve the issue or make necessary changes if needed. We have let our maintenance know about the bed and we have already taken action to fix this issue. Alpine Lodge was established in 1953 and has been a landmark in Red River ever since. Though while Alpine and most other lodges in Red River are a bit older we here have made huge improvements to our rooms, grounds, and amenities since taking over ownership in November of 2017 and have even more planned for the future. We hope you give us another chance in the future.
