Lodge is very convenient to skiing and downtown. Rustic and great for family needs. Full kitchen definitely helps on meals if cooking. Unique and effective towel and trash service makes it a snap on daily needs. Priced comparable to others but like the central locale and ready access to skiing.

Hotel is older and kitschy but clean and comfortable. You cannot beat the location just half a block from Main lift. Staff was friendly and helpful. Stayed for a quick solo ski trip and was perfect. If you are a family, you’ll want a bigger than standard room

The location is great. Hotel is older, rooms are a little small. Pricing is very resort based and you are paying for location. The hotel is still operating under COVID-19. There is no housekeeping during your stay. You must empty your own trash, put laundry outside from them to tend to. They have only one housekeeper for 48 rooms. They still charge full rate for limited service. Just be prepared.

Hi Shamerider, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. As businesses in the state of NM try to navigate thru our state's pandemic protocol, we are doing our best to find a balance between the state and our guest's needs. The Alpine employs 4 full-time housekeepers and we value them as part of our amazing team. Our lodge is in a great location for all winter and even summertime guests and activities so whether you choose to say with us again or another lodge option, we hope you continue to come and enjoy this incredible small mountain resort town.

Alpine Lodge was a quaint cabin get away. Walking distance to everything!! You can get up and walk 3 minutes to the nearest left! Clean and cozy. The staff was so sweet and helpful. Recommend staying here for couples, families, anyone wanting to stay in the heart of downtown Red River.

Wasn't to impressed they want you to clean your own room and for the cost you shouldn't have to clean yourself. It is very close to the ski resort that makes it nice and they're Hot tubs are really good

We are sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay. Unfortunately with the pandemic still going on, our staff is limited to entering rooms for the time being. We look forward to the time when we can get back to our regular housekeeping services.

We traveled to Red River for Oktoberfest, and stayed at Alpine Lodge. The room was clean and cozy. The beds were one of the most comfortable hotels beds that we have slept in. It was walking distance to most of Red River. The staff were very friendly and courteous. We extremely enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful experience, and a lovely time, as we always do here. Scenery and atmosphere are beautiful, peaceful, comfortable, and great owners/staff! Highly recommend. Great for family get-togethers or idyllic retreats. Everything in town is within walking distance - hiking, shopping, eating, sightseeing, etc.

This facility is older and dated inside and out - like most rentals and hotels in Red River. But the rooms are spacious, beds and pillows are comfortable, rooms are clean, the location is amazing and the staff is friendly and helpful. We rented a two bedroom with fireplace for a family vacation and the kids loved it!!! The property is like a huge park with a large grassy area, places to grill, swing sets, horse shoe pits and the kids could wade in the river right outside the room! We were able to walk to most restaurants and activities. If you are expecting the ritz Carlton interior - good luck in Red River! We loved it and will definitely be back. This is also steps from the ski resort and would be awesome in winter. Closets are big enough to store ski gear inside the unit.

My room faced the lawn and the River was right there. A bench to sit by the River and enjoy a cup of coffee. Nice staff and clean rooms. Bed was very comfortable. Walking distance to all activities, shops and food. Sat on the bench underneath my porch stayed dry and watched it rain and smelled all that fresh air! You should go!

Three former smaller suites have been combined to make one big, four bedroom rental. This was perfect for the ten of us. Three bedrooms with a bath could be closed off on one side of the rental. Another bedroom and bath were off the living room. Two futons in the living room converted to full-sized beds (linens provided). Then there was a huge kitchen (with a full bath to the side) with ample seating for dining and playing games. The kids also loved playing outside with new friends and swinging and playing horseshoes. Teens enjoyed the hot tub. We sat around the fire at the firepit. We stay here every time we come, but this was the first time to bring our whole family, and they also enjoyed it. The new owners (2017) have been making some nice improvements. We made some wonderful memories.
