This hotel feels more like a $50 hotel than the $90 we paid. It stinks of cigarettes, some of the exterior walls are rotting, we left and stayed at the Best Western right next door, a little more money, but well worth it.

Thanks for your feedback. Our hotel is a non-smoking facility, I am not sure how you smell of smoke. We are getting the stucco work done sometime during the month. We have updated our hotel recently. If had done the research then our hotel is not $50 worth. I hope you consider staying her next time, we will make your... More

The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was very friendly and when we had a problem with our reservation and they immediately fixed it. We will certainly stay at Quality Inn’s on future trips.

Raton is a small town, but Amber, the front desk clerk, was EXCEEDINGLY helpful with an upcoming reservation that was becoming problematic. I had tried to contact Choice Hotels and the hotel we were going to stay at and kept getting the run around (Using the phone to call their service center is USELESS - as you get put onto... More

The Quality Inn of Raton is located along an interstate in a small town. Though the hotel is not new, but it has been renovated. My room was large, clean, and comfortable. Everything worked as it should. They also had a small exercise room where everything worked. The breakfast was a notch below the usual standards. The cold cereals were... More

Front desk clerk was terrific and very helpful and professional. Quickly handled a non-working TV. The room phone did not work and never did. Not good for an emergency. Got a good nights sleep because it was quiet. TV was not in HD format despite having a very good 32" model.

The hotel staff member in training was super nice, as was the more senior staff person. The exterior of the property is not impressive, but the room was spotless and the bed was very comfy. We suggest requesting a room away from the side entrance, which proved to be a bit noisy because the door closed loudly, but thankfully not... More

The check in guy was very nice and helpful. The room on the other hand was not cleaned. The sink had food in it and the counter was nasty. There was food under the desk so shown in pictures I posted. There was rings from drinks on the desk and coffee spots showing where the sink and counter were not... More

Over all the stay went by very well. The rooms nice and clean the only thing is when you walk in and turn on the spot light hits you right in the face. Dont know why they even them there. But that was just a little thing and would go back.

This is a good place to stop if you are either going south on I-25 or E on Clayton Rd. Easy ingress and egress to both roads. Room was clean, staff friendly, check-in quick and breakfast typical. The only drawback was the hall had a bad odor.

This was an excellent location to stop over on the way to Colorado. Enjoyed the room and breakfast. No problems at all. Staff was very nice and helpful. There were places to eat nearby. It was near the freeway but quiet in the room.
