El Kapp is very much a budget motel. It looked like it was built in the 50's. And has no updates since then. The room was very dated. The room was very clean. That is the only reason we stayed there. The bed was very soft. The room had Wi-Fi, but very slow. The room had a microwave and refrigerator....

We stopped here for a one night stay on our way to Colorado. The rate was $52.99 plus $5 for our small dog- they are pet friendly! The room was kind of old, but clean. We had a comfortable king bed, mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The hotel is next to the highway, but we thought it was very...

We stayed here because our preferred motel was blocked with 7 law enforcement vehicles looking for the cigarette that caused a tiny roadside fire. The desk man was rude and asked for so much personal information I felt like I was booking a room at the Ritz for a vandal convention. I assured him I wasn't going to trash his...

Not a bad room for the price, bed is comfortable. Pictures need updated, rooms are older than the pics make it look. The furniture and such are old and worn. Walls and tub has been patched. If you're needing a place to lay your head for the night it's the right price. The man at the desk is very friendly...

The rate was supposed to be around $35/night but instead we were charged double that amount. We arrived around midnight and just needed sleep and a shower before getting on the road again early in the morning so we were looking for something cheap. When I inquired about the rate in the morning suggesting that perhaps there was a misunderstanding...

This older motel ha a lot of great things going for it that make it a better value than the Motel 6 down the block. The bathtub in Room 6 is large, and there is great water pressure in the shower. The towels are large and fluffy and the tile looks new. A coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave are all...

Even though the room was older, the room was clean and the people at the front desk were extremely helpful. We stayed here for over a month and never once had any issues. We would stay here again if we traveled back here through Raton. We have absolutely no complaints to voice in this review.

The room was clean, yet dated...The lady behind the desk was very helpful and nice. The price was right for a clean place to sleep and shower. It has a yummy restaurant right next door. close to shops and highway.

I don't know how he can get away with advertising "Clean Rooms" on his sign without being sued by the State's Attorney General because the room was really bad. The carpet looked to be 50+ years old and never cleaned. Stay away
