I just needed a place to sleep. Saw some decent reviews about the Oasis Motel so decided to give it a try. It was well worth the $55 fee. Room was clean and in good condition. Bed was old but comfortable. All in all a good value.

We were traveling to Colorado from south Texas, and after going through Amarillo some in our car were ready to call it a night soon. We didn't have a set plan for accommodations that night (which I warned them of, being a busy road trip path we were on and small towns with few hotels). The town we had planned...

The outside may look slightly deceiving and old, but the rooms were very clean. The beds are comfortable. We would stay here again if passing through. I have paid a lot more for hotels that were not this nice. This is an older motel, but it is well kept . Also had breakfast at the restaurant there a little pricey...

Don't get me wrong. This is not a 5-star motel, but based upon the room rate for what you get it is a real bargain. The rooms are dated but clean. The beds are firm, almost hard, but not a problem for me. The room air conditioning will cool/heat as needed and works every time. The rooms are spacious with...

It's a less-expensive hotel. Good that it's off the interstate and pretty quiet. Bed had a firm, but comfortable mattress. Room clean, a little dated. Room had nice size, small fridge and microwave with a flat-screen TV. The internet was pretty spotty though, if that's important to you. Not only an unstable connection, but the speeds varied anywhere from 1...

There are many motels to choose from in Raton, but I needed one with good large truck parking in a quiet area. After reading several Great reviews, I stopped at the Oasis. It was a step back in time! And while that usually wouldn't bother me, it was in need of a good cleaning! We were quoted $65 for 2...

This is the second time that I have stayed at this Mom and Pop motel. As was the first, it was a great stay. Large, clean and comfortable rooms. Excellent restaurant next door owned by the same people.

This is a very reliable stop, and a good value for the money. Our room was large and clean but somewhat outdated. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet! We did not use the in-room microwave and small refrigerator. The restaurant (The Oasis Motel and Restaurant) has always been a good reliable breakfast stop for us. They open at...

I agree. The photo posted is misrepresentation of this property... but I have images and will soon set things straight. No doubt, these are some fairly Spartan digs. I am also sure there are other, more engaging and expensive lodging options in Raton. It would be hard to stay here with children... no pool... no place to play... no vending...
