I have stayed at the Adobe & Pines several times. The property is beautiful, including a labyrinth. The owner and her staff are the best, bending over backwards to make sure your stay is perfect. The breakfasts are delicious, and not being an early riser, I appreciated the later breakfast time (9:30 AM). I love the bathrooms, the bed sheets, and afternoon hot-cider-and-cookie break. The main room has a ton of brochures and information on what to do in the area. This B&B is wonderful for relaxation. I decided to go to Taos to photograph the fall colors. Although the colors forecasted were off by a week, the aspens at the Taos Ski Valley were in bright array. The week I was there was the Taos Art Fiesta, so everything was crowded, but great weather in abundance. Parking is always a huge problem in Taos. Add road work, and getting around in town was a hassle. But art, always in abundance. From Espanola you can drive the low road or the high road (which runs through the mountains with way more scenic views). The High Road takes 2 hours longer, as it is a single winding lane in each direction. More stops to sightsee, too.

Wonderful b&b right outside of Taos, the place us gorgeous and bursting with charm—there is a labyrinth, chicken coop, beautiful landscaping, and every detail is attended to. The breakfast was wonderful, Chris was extremely attentive with so much useful information about where to hike, to go for dinner, to watch a gorgeous sunset.

On our recent 4 day stay, we discovered that Adobe and Pines embodies all that makes Taos such a special place, with serene courtyards and quiet places to rest and reflect. Christine and her staff bring an ever present genuine warmth to their caring service. Breakfasts are lovingly prepared, presented and served in your room, at the indoor tables, or in comfortable outdoor settings. If you are missing your furry friends from home, or just wanting soft eyes and touches- Ella, the dog, or Nelson, the cat- are out and about for you. Not a place to be in a rush. Just far enough from town to be out of the hubbub, but close enough to enjoy all that Taos has to offer.

Christine and her staff were very attentive, a wealth of information and just so friendly! Breakfasts were delicious and filling. Christine was so nice to pack us a “to go” breakfast for a very early morning hot air balloon ride — just the thing to get us going! The property and grounds are lovely. Our room was spotless and we slept very comfortably. We very much enjoyed Christine’s queso, chips, and cold beverages on our deck one afternoon, delightful! Highly recommend and we will definitely stay here again when back in the area! Mike and Karen :)

Lovely calming place to stay with gorgeous garden and meditative labyrinth. Excellent breakfast. Charming staff and host. Relaxing porch. All lovely. I’d love to have had a pool too but perhaps that would change the character.
