We spent five nights in cabin #7. The setting is peaceful and beautiful. The cabin was very clean and was a great place to relax and see Silver City and the Gila Wilderness. We enjoyed the fireplace and being able to cook and grill some of our meals. The cabin was great - would definitely recommend them to anyone traveling in the area.

We had a real great stay at the Bear Creek Motel and Cabins! Our cabin was very nice and cozy, very clean. The gentleman that checked us in was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. It was great to see all the wildlife around the cabin. I would highly recommend staying the weekend at Bear Creek Motel and Cabins!

The website with it's photos of the rental cabins & the setting sold us!! They look like something from JR Tolkien or some similar fantasy! The exteriors are Shaggy with cut tree limbs, little balconies & catwalks. Interiors are Old Log Cabin/ Lodge style with stone fireplace & wood labelling. All are A- frames, which means some bedrooms are located up a narrow staircase to a Loft Area. We are 2 Seniors who can no longer climb a lot of stairs to bed or bath, so we asked about a cabin with these facilities on the ground floor. There were 2 cabins with these features along with a kitchen so we booked one. Ours was the at the very entrance to the property, which was smaller than it looked & located on a V between 2 roads that were highly trafficked. Interior property cabins were probably much quieter but ours was not. And the bed on the ground/ main floor must have been a Recent addition meant to provide for people like us who can't manage stairs- It was Squeezed in what originally was the dining area making for Very Limited floor space. There is a lack of hooks or closets or dressers for clothing, & the lighting is inadequate & poorly installed (bedside lamps were too low to be useful & couldn't be moved). As far as the porch area was concerned, ' 'quaintness' won out instead of comfort in the form of 2 Adirondack chairs that were nearly impossible to get out of! All in all, these cabins are probably fine for younger people & families but not for people who can't climb stairs. The addition of a queen- sized bed in the lower floor living room area is a Bad idea!

Wonderful cabins. Great for relaxing with a cup of coffee on the patio in the morning and listening to woodpeckers and seeing hummingbirds, deer, and other wildlife. VERY clean. We were concerned with CoVID and brought our own cleaning supplies to clean before bringing our things in- and hardly anything at all came off any surface as we did so. Great stopping off point between silver city and the gila wilderness. Amazing hiking trails, kind people, quiet, serene. Highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in cabin 5. It was cozy and comfortable. The cabins almost remind me of treehouses! The check in and out was super easy, the cabin was clean, and the little balcony was cool! Highly recommend this place!
