It priced along side the top resorts in the state, but doesn't have the customer service or overall experience to match. Ate at the restaurant several times and was over priced. Even the clerk at check in desk said he wouldn't recommend it. The spa services, I paid for one thing and got another. The outdoor pools are nice, but... More

We decided to spend our anniversary in the Santa Fe area and take in an opera (the Santa Fe Opera is an incredible covered outdoor theatre!) We were traveling with our trailer so we were thrilled to find out that the Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs (about an hour north of Santa Fe) had an RV campground of its own right... More

We were just there over the weekend and really had a nice time! We tried out all of the pools and even the mud bath ... FUN plus, relaxing! The weather was perfect! We took a break and went to the wine bar also on the same grounds. We bought local beers and sat in the rocking chairs on the... More

I gathered that the historic hot springs got a make over in recent times to make it a bit more modern and family friendly. Apparently it was on the hippy side of things back in the day, I didn't get that vibe at all. If you aren't familiar, it is a collection of pools of warm/hot water that arise form... More

This is a review of the hot springs only, not the hotel or spa. When I visited recently, there were 6 hot spring pools open at Ojo, the hottest was a lukewarm 104, the others were a degree or two cooler. For fans of Japanese onsen, these pools will be way too cool. In fact, with a cold wind blowing,... More

Nice way to spend a day hopping between the various pools. Would've been nice if there was some cool water shower between pools. Very scenic. Nice drive from Santa Fe. Went with our 12 year old Ate lunch. The tortilla soup was meh; tasted like enchilada sauce. Nice. But not spectacular

Here is a summary of my experiences at Ojo: you should bring an additional towel because getting in and out of the water will make the little towel they give you pretty wet at the end of your stay. Getting in free on your birthday is wonderful! It is very enjoyable to go on a clear night when you can see... More

Read the reviews of this place and couldn't wait to book a trip. There were no available rooms for the weekend we were traveling so we were not able to stay at the spa itself. We rented a private pool with a fire for 2 hours. It was extremely romantic and relaxing. The pool was very hot, almost too hot,... More

This resort is awesome. We always stay at the campground which is reasonable, small and very nice. There are great hiking trails and the pools are wonderful. We also enjoyed the restaurant. We plan to make this a yearly event

Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs is one of the oldest natural health resorts in the country.
