Detailed Reviews
We didn't actually stay in this wonderful hotel. We came on a day tour by a boat from San Stefanos and my daughter suddenly felt quite ill on the beach ( it was 37C). The guy who works at the beach carried her to the hotel where the owner did EVERYTHING possible to make her feel better. He measured her pulse and blood pressure gave us both water, ice, juice and practically showered us with care. I am getting a bit emotional here but this is true Greek kindness and hospitality. The hotel looked amazing btw sparkling clean and upmarket. Next time we come to Greece I would love to stay there for a couple of nights. Thank you so much!!!

A few meters from the port stands this hotel that enjoys a beautiful beach right in front of the rooms. Unfortunately this year the restaurant below has turned into a boutique and it is a shame because in my opinion it was perhaps the best in Erikousa. The rooms are simple but functional all I think have a terrace facing the sea. Certainly you do not have to go too far for the subtle, slightly ramshackle fixtures in some rooms, rough cleaning, courteous breakfast service but arm yourself with patience. Great location and correct price, considering that we are on a small island where they will certainly have staff and supply problems is still recommended

It's a small familar gestio hotel with an excellent and very close deal. The hotel's own restaurant is absolutely beautiful, varied with local produce and a Greek cassole cookery with George's mother at the helm, which makes you delight every day with your dishes at dinner time. It is to be welcomed that there are still such authentic and entertaining places, outside mass tourism!!! It's not a superlux hotel or big facilities but luxury is the place where it is and the staff with George at the whim. Thank you for making our stay inolvidable and we look forward to the opportunity to be able to return in a few years' time and for everything to stay the same and not lose the island its character

We stayed at the hotel for 10 days. The price is attractive but in no way corresponds. The outside unit of the air conditioner was rusted and the water dropped onto the balcony. Roasted blankets for clothes and chairs that were on the balcony in bad condition. The room had basic shortcomings such as the lack of wheat, shutters dirty and the Patsuri did not close. Wardrobe there was nothing but a custom-made hanger where the clothes touched the fridge. In the bathroom curtain which was away from the ground resulting every time you took a shower flooded the whole bathroom. Nowhere base to touch shampoo or sponge like only a single hanging for bath towels. The layers in the bedroom turned only with a sheath. Substrate nowhere. Finishing with respect to cleaning the basics. Also note that the hallways everywhere things like layers of pillows and anything else you can imagine. A shame because the location of the hotel is the best of the island. The sea ahead. Lastly for the sunbeds belonging to the hotel there is a charge even for hotel guests. Finished the staff very helpful and polite contrary to the hotel's address. The card of our room within a 24 hour was demagnetized 2 times and when the Owner came to serve us he did not even enter the process to be introduced. Only in the following days after we expressed our dissatisfaction was enough to suggest us to change room which change was proposed 3 days before our departure.

Erikousa Hotel is superb, and the island is fabulous!
George was extremely helpful before we arrived and whilst we were there. We arrived by boat (Captain Miltos) from Sidari. George met us at the port and took the bags to the hotel. Each night, the restaurant staff took us to the kitchen to show us the fresh fish and wonderful dishes they’d prepared.
We had the best three days on the island; George and his family provided exceptional service on a beautiful, laid-back ‘Robinson Crusoe’ island.

The location is worth the visit, overlooking the bay at the entrance to the port. Decent quality of food and very friendly but not very efficient service, it takes a long time to eat but in Greece it is like this almost everywhere. High price justified by the fact of being on an island where you only work with tourists and for a few months a year. Still recommended

Value for money for the accommodation and all services. Friendly staff with excellent beach service and reasonable prices. Taking into consideration that the Island belongs to the unprofitable line and the tourism period is very short... all staff doing their best to service you on a professional way.

I just love everything about this Hotel and Erikousa Island. Its my third time, and I will return again❤️. The beds are good, aircondition work perfectly, rooms clean, . Its a family owned Hotel , and George and his staff are just good friendly people. If you like to walk you find marked walkingtrails and nice beaches. The Hotel is situated at the beach and there are good sun beds, and service at the beach, several good taverna and restaurants.❤️

After months of anticipation the Island and hotel exceeded my expectations. The quiet and laid back environment was just what I wanted. The staff and George were attentive and their friendliness made the visit most memorable.
George’s legendary road map made the exploring of the Island less challenging than otherwise,as although Erikhoussa is small taking a wrong turn is easy to do.
Will hopefully return.
Best wishes to all.
Chris.

From the minute you land on Erikousa you will be swept away by it's tranquillity and charm. The Hotel Erikousa complements the island perfectly. It's beachfront location is
superb. George and his family run the hotel and their whole ethos is geared toward
creating an atmosphere of serenity and rejuvenation.
There are twenty rooms which will take 38 people. The rooms are spacious with ample sockets, wardrobe space, T.V. hairdryer ,mini-fridge and air-conditioning Room service is excellent and any special requests are met with friendliness and swift response .Some rooms are undergoing upgrades but these do not impinge on existing guests. All rooms have sea-views and are on the upper floor ( two floors including ground level). There isn't a lift so bear in mind if you have any mobility issues.
It gets better !! We've been travelling throughout Greece for thirty plus years and can
safely say have never ever been so impressed by the standard of food. George's Mum
could teach famous chefs a trick or two. We were there for five nights and because the Island's second taverna was still not due to open until late June ate every meal, lunch and dinner, at the hotel. We don't eat meat and yet had a variety and quality of food that meant we never duplicated a menu. The restaurant has a terrace with more than twenty tables meaning guests should have al fresco sea-facing dining at all times.
There is a small supermarket 50 metres away that is surprisingly well stocked considering that all food is imported by ferry from Corfu. Visiting ' Yachties ' re-stock their supplies and one or two of them use the Hotel restaurant for a change.
Food and drink prices are approximately 10% more than the busier resorts of Corfu but this is to be expected owing to transportation costs and exclusivity.
One of the main delights of the Island is the walking. George is only too happy to help
with maps etc.,. There are five colour-coded walks ranging from easy yellow and going through orange, green. blue and up to the longest red. which lasts about three hours and takes in the whole of Erikousa's perimeter. The whole island is only 5/6 square kilometres and all the roads are colour-code signposted and it's easy to criss-cross the
walks to take in different vistas.
For those travelling to Erikousa I would advise taking the ferryboat Alexandros from
Corfu Town ( 07.00 on selected weekdays .. 09.00 Sunday ) The north-west port
of San Stefanos offers the ferry boat Pegasus but is subject to erratic scheduling.
George will be only too happy to advise if you e-mail or telephone; both are available
on the hotel's home web-site.
Hopefully I've not bored you. Suffice to say if you're in two minds about the extra effort involved in getting there .... TAKE THE PLUNGE !.. You'll have a wealth of memories. Thanks to George, his family and Martina for all your efforts and help.
