Stayed in the Master Bedroom over the Labor Day Weekend and absolutely loved it! Rosie was very welcoming and the house was beautiful and clean. I loved spending time in the courtyard enjoying the New Mexican weather. Breakfast both mornings was wonderful and chatting with Rosie and the other guests made it a relaxed and wonderful vacation. Thank you so... More

We had a wonderful stay in the Casita at Casa de Rosie the end of August. The traditional adobe property is a short walk to the square down a lovely street. It is also a very short drive to downtown Las Cruces and its awesome Saturday Farmer's and Artisan's Market. Rosie was a perfect hostess and the breakfasts were scrumptious.... More

We spent three nights here recently and really enjoyed the location and Rosie's good breakfasts and conversation. The room (we stayed in the Casita) was very comfortable and it's only a short distance to walk into Old Mesilla. I highly recommend Casa de Rosie.

This is a nice, simple place to overnight. Rosie was welcoming and the space accommodating. Thank goodness for the cool air-conditioning. Las Cruces in the midst of the summer is quite HOT! Rosie is known for her delicious breakfasts; however, I stumped her on this one...I am vegan. She's quite open to some vegan recipes that I will send along... More

Visiting La Mesilla and stayed at Casa de Rosie. Only two rooms, but what rooms. Our room was so spacious, it had room for a desk, a divan and a king size bed and it wasn't crowded. Then the bathroom, I have never been in a more beautiful room. It had a tub, separate stand up shower, large vanity sink... More

I highly recommend Casa de Rosie. My husband and I stayed one night in the Master bedroom which was very comfortable, extremely clean and spacious. Rosie pays attention to details that matter with comfortable bedding, thicker towels and bath supplies amidst simple and tasteful decor. The rest of the house was beautiful with lovely outdoor patio seating and fountain. We... More

We stayed here one night while touring southern new mexico.Rosie was welcoming and helpful. She cooked a mean breakfast as well.We stayed in the Casita which was very private and well equipped. One of the pluses is that it is only 2 blocks from Mesilla which made for a pleasant stroll in the evening with dinner on the plaza

Beautiful House, wonderful big room and bath, and Conveniently located to Old Mesilla Plaza. But it's not too close (the traffic can be a little heavy for a small plaza). You can walk there in a minute or so. It's a beautiful house with high ceilings. Plenty of easy parking. The room we stayed in was large with a King... More

If you want to enjoy the quirky charm of historic Mesilla that is located in the Las Cruces area, consider staying at this Casa. It's located two blocks north of the attractive central Plaza where there are many fascinating shops, bars, and La Posta, the well known TexMex restaurant. Rosie will greet you and show you into this large hacienda... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Casa de Rosie is just one mile from Highway 10 and nearby Las Cruces. This is a beautiful bed and breakfast in historic old Mesilla, it is located about 100 steps from the Plaza and the Basilica of San Albino. This Bed and Breakfast has the distinction of being walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in Old Mesilla, while still secluded and quiet. It is close to all the great restaurants of Old Mesilla, La Posta, The Double Eagle, Andele's, the Bean, and many more. Furthermore, Casa de Rosie is situated just down the street from the Rio Grande and the "Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park" (1.5 miles to the Park). Casa de Rosie (Rosie's Home) is situated on an acre of ground providing privacy and solitude for our guests. In the rear it is located right on the "Acequia", the canal that brings water from the Rio Grande. The dirt paths of the canal are perfect for those who like to run or walk for miles along the orchards and farmlands of the Mesilla Valley. Perfect for the most avid bird-watchers. Casa de Rosie is located on Calle del Norte (Highway 359) one of the few roads that cross the Rio Grande. Also, the Mesilla Bed and Breakfast is located on the major North South migratory routes of many bird species. The just opened Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park is just one mile away. ... more   less
