The room (decor, bed, bathroom, layout, view, lighting), the service, the food, the lobby, and the plaza book store / antique store / and art gallery were all delightful. What a well-managed hotel! It is beautifully maintained. Amanda, Shawn, and Antonio were particularly helpful. Amanda not only handled extra details for our reservation, but also introduced us to the hotel's...

The hotel has been adapted and added to via a neighboring building (so interconnecting passage ways are a bit up or down). Rooms are all named after famous people who have stayed there (movie stars and politicos). Rooms are not ultra-modern, but are very cozy and comfortable. We liked it so much we stayed there again on our swing back...

The Plaza Hotel was built in 1882 and is maintained beautifully. The staff is welcoming and helpful. We were there to see the film location and gift shop. The movie No Country for Old Men filmed the staircase in one of it's action scenes and other scenes as well. Several TV movies were also filmed there. The Hotel also has...

We were on a vacation and heard that the Plaza Hotel was where our favorite TV show was filmed. It was like a step back in time. There were a lot of antiques to look at in the hotel. The staff was great. We had breakfast in the dining room and it was delicious. It's a wonderfully quaint town. I'd...

Absolutely excellent front desk. I walked in cold and grumpy. The front desk greeted me warmly, respectfully, and promptly. Moreover, I felt like I was being nice to him. The hotel is classic Victorian. There's pictures on many rooms of the movie stars that stayed there. My premium Victorian Room was huge. The restaurant served the best Huevos Rancheros that...

We stayed there with our dog and everything went easy & smooth. Our room had a gorgeous tall ceiling and windows faced to the plaza. Bed was nice & big and room was very clean! Also, we enjoyed the pictures of famous actors and actresses on the wall. It was unique and great experience for us to be able to...

We were just here overnight, but had a lovely stay at this historic hotel. The Santa Fe Trail used to pass through here and Route 66 until 1937. There is a traditional town square and interesting shops Several tasty restaurants as well.

We drove from No Colorado on a culinary tour of NM. We intended to stay in Santa Fe, but it was late, so we stopped here. Boy, am I glad we did. What a wonderful building. Grand staircases, beautiful details, well kept up. We only stayed one night, and had a snack and beers (good selection!) in the bar. The...

I was unfamiliar with the history of the hotel nor the town before booking, so I pleasantly surprised from the moment I turned onto the town square. From the door, the staff and decorum to was a boost of non over whelming cheer. The Christmas and holiday touches seemed so seamlessly integrated, I'm not sure where the original hotel astethic...

We took a side trip to Las Vegas New Mexico while traveling Rt. 66. Best side trip on our eastbound travel across Arizona and New Mexico. It was so good that we booked a room for our return westward. That's how impressed we were with this vintage hotel after having lunch in the Plaza Hotel restaurant. The absolute only minus...
