I very much enjoyed my stay ... and really enjoyed the breakfast ... which was very tasty and very healthy. Upon arrival, the manager makes you feel like you just arrived home. My room, the Towa, was clean, comfortable and attractively designed. I was pleasantly surprised to see that there is a sauna (electric sauna stove) available in the facility for use by the guests. I will definitely try to reserve a room here when I next visit the Jemez area.
It's a gem. Rooms and whole property decorated with authenic native American art from the family's collection. Creative and tasty breakfast. Hosts are helpful and flexible, offering a guests' fridge to store picnic items...useful since there are only 2 options in tiny Jemez Springs for dinner. In the off season (april qualifies) it's so quiet all you hear at night is the river nearby. Great pool in summer.Highly recommended.
We have been to this retreat twice and thoroughly enjoyed our stays. It is in a beautiful setting northwest of Santa Fe. The retreat has a limited number of bedrooms that are rustic and well equipped. The hot tub was not operating on our last visit so we were treat to the Jemez Hot Springs. We especially enjoyed the walking path to the Jemez River.
Lovely, quite setting with fabulous great room equipped with books, games and where delicious breakfast is served. Grounds are perfect for strolling down to the river, many quiet spots to sit and relax. We will be back!
We stayed here two nights. When we checked in, the attendant took us on a tour and showed us where everything was. We loved that there was a sauna, hot tub, and a pool. The sound of the river could be heard from the hot tub. It was magical! We also took the little trail that wandered down to the river where there was a bench. We could sit and relax there. It was a great place to relax as a couple. The room was on the smaller side, but will appointed and very clean. Loved the decorations being native American! The breakfast were phenomenal! There's a big table with 12 seats, and it is served family-style. I have a wheat allergy, and they accommodated that beautifully.
