Booked a room for my Granddaughter and her family over the weekend, had a late arrival but I had prepaid for the room earlier that day. When they arrived person working was rude actually yelled at them, finally got there room key to find trash still in the waste baskets and dog hair all over the sheets. I will NEVER support this business again!!!!

Although this hotel has a great location, and looks great from the outside, it has been allowed to deteriorate. Our room looked very shabby. Holes in the curtain, furniture chipped and stained. The worst was the bath mat with black mold.

While we didn't get to fully use the property, due to COVID restrictions, this was a nice little motel. The room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. Only complaint was the walls are paper thin and we could hear everything going on outside. Someone was in the room above us and when they turned the shower on, the water noise in our wall was quite loud. We will definitely stay here again next time we go to visit our friends.

I have stayed here multiple times, but this time I felt the place has lost something, not sure if they are under new management or not. First, they would not take reservations over the phone; they said I needed to go to the website to make reservations, which I never did before. The bar and restaurant is closed, the check in was not pleasant at all, first thing out of the woman’s mouth was credit card and license. The room we went to the toilet was running, couldn’t turn it off even after jiggling the handle and all, the second room we ended up in was ok, had some screw holes in the wall which doesn’t look like any attempt was made of fix them, and empty shampoo bottles in the bathroom from the previous occupants. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean, great view of the lake and could be a nice place again with some care which I see lacking. The breakfast was ok; the eggs were cold and much unorganized. No bowls for the cereal, which we had to go hunt down ourselves. Not sure if I will stay here again, T or C is not that far and have other hotels there that I may look into staying from now on.

Located by the border of the state park of elephant butte lake, the premium rooms facing the lake has very good view. The lady in front desk is especially nice. However, the spa is no longer open and the restaurant and bar is also closed.
