Worst motel I have ever stayed at. Should have been named Skid Row Joes Motel. Would not recommend. Pool out of order. Wifi doesnt work. No phones in rooms. 30 year old TVs. Credit card machine doesnt work. Cash onlly.

If I could give this property a zero rather than a 1, I would. The not so nice lady refused my reservation, booked via Hotwire, explaining she had some issue with her credit card reader and Hotwire. Not my problem, but since she made it my problem, consuming the rest of my evening talking to Hotwire and finding alternate lodging, I am submitting this review. Plenty of choices of places to stay here, I guess she has more business than she can handle, she really did not care.

So as my husband and I were traveling from Tucson to Albuquerque. This motel has a sign out front that states American owned. This motel is either the oldest or 2nd to the oldest in Deming. The room smelled like old cigarettes. The pillows had hair on all over as well as the sheets and looked as though they hadn't been changed in a couple of stays. there was hair all over the floor in the bathroom, there were stains on the comforters and what looked like blood drops on the carpet. The older woman who manages the desk I am gonna assume is the owner. She was very nice and the A/C unit in the window worked well. I would say that the property has potential and would be alot nicer if they showed a little TLC

I spent a night there in June of 2015. Liked it a lot, their non-smoking room actually does not reek of tobacco. Good furniture, I had 2 sturdy chairs in my room. Not a noisy place, had a good sleep there. WiFi, microwave, fridge, TV.

I stayed at the Deming Motel the night of October 27, 2014. I paid $33.74 with tax and certainly got my money's worth. I really had no problem with anything -- hot water, fridge, microwave, TV, and wifi. I would not hesitate to stay here again the next time I am passing through on I-10.
