The Chocolate Turtle is a charming bed and breakfast with amazing views of the Sandia Mountains. Denise and Keith were very welcoming and had amazing suggestions for things to do and places to eat in the area. We will definitely stay again!

Wonderful hosts, great breakfasts and lovely accommodations. Highly recommend this B&B when in Corrales. Great advice on sights and restaurants provided by the hosts. Sandia Room was spacious and exceedingly comfortable.

The Sandia room was great with it's large bathroom, king bed and daybed, and private, walled patio. Breakfast was delicious and plenty and I could go on and on for quite a long time about the home's large back patio, the views, and how quiet and beautiful it is there. Saw many bunnies and quail, and a little after breakfast one... More

It is always fun to see the reaction of our guest(s) when they are afforded the chance to see the reclusive "State Bird of New Mexico". More

This was a beautiful place for a small wedding. The gazebo frames the mountains, and the view is spectacular. One of the owners was very accommodating about questions and pre-wedding visits. It was an excellent experience except for one thing which is why I do not give it 5 stars. One is required to rent the four rooms for at... More

It was indeed, a beautiful wedding and very well planned. As discussed prior to scheduling the event at the B&B, we have a whole house policy during such events. Other B&B guests would not want to be in the middle of someone else's event. The Village of Corrales has a noise ordinance after 10 pm and this was clearly discussed... More

We stayed here traveling across country. The owners Keith and Denise are friendly, always available and knowledgeable of the area. Breakfast was fantastic, served in an idyllic setting overlooking a gorgeous view. The accommodations were perfection. I would recommend this jewel to everyone as a must.

The Chocolate Turtle may be the best b & b I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. Every possible need of travelers was anticipated. The property, located in the small rural community of Corrales, NM, is a treat for those who enjoy Southwestern style architecture and plants. Albuquerque, NM is a very short drive away. The hosts of... More

I wanted a quiet, tasteful wedding in lovely surroundings. I got exactly that at the Chocolate Turtle. You can rent the entire B&B with a gazebo in beautiful grounds for the ceremony. The entire place is premium New Mexico ambiance from the tasteful art work and furnishings to the delightfully whimsical curios. The you step outside to the beautiful backdrop... More

The rooms are comfy, attractive and nicely appointed but there's no reason to spend much time in your room when you can enjoy the views from the patio or gazebo, or the living room when the sun really heats things up. The back yard affords wonderful vistas of the Sandia Mountains and environs north of Albuquerque. No wonder so many... More

The hosts, Keith and Denise, do a very good job of making guests feel at home. The non-human hosts, Zorro the dog and Rico the parrot, add to the ambiance as well. My wife and I have stayed there many times; it is where we stay when in Albuquerque. We had another stay recently and will stay again in a... More

Corrales is such a charming town. It is a quaint town destined to keep their roots from years ago and is stuck in the middle of Albuquerque and Rio Rancho. The B & B was wonderful. Keith & Denise are wonderful owners and very accommodating. The breakfast is not to be missed. There are ample quail and rabbits running around... More

Corrales is an historic farming village which is very proud of it's heritage and culture. All of our residents work towards the same goal, keeping the village a village. Tucked neatly between Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, "so near, yet so far away". More
