Comfortable and relaxing is a perfect description of the Chocolate Turtle, a colorful southwest style B&B located in the Village of Corrales, a historic farming community in the Rio Grande river valley of New Mexico. Adjacent to Albuquerque and a short drive to Santa Fe, the Chocolate Turtle offers a wonderful view of the Sandia Mountain from its patio and portal. Most mornings you can enjoy breakfast while being entertained by the roadrunners and quail.

Very welcoming home and host couple Denise and Keith. They provided excellent advice regarding a winery visit and restaurant selections. Excellent accomodations and Kieth made us an awesome breakfast. He even moved the time table up an hour so we could catch an early flight.

We really enjoyed hosting this family. A fun group, very respectful of our home. We hope to see the bride and groom return to celebrate their anniversary.

Pet friendly?
As far as I know, they do not allow pets as their policy. But, they do have a very friendly standard poodle that lives there. You should call to double check, but I believe the answer is "no".

We've never added photos to anything--we're strictly word people. Sorry we can't help you. The photo that accompanies our review is something TripAdvisor apparently added for us. We have no idea why they chose it.
