We stayed in the Texas room for one night in this quaint little town. We were greeted upon arrival by our hosts Gail and Scott who were very nice. We were shown our upstairs room which had a small balcony looking at the woods outside. It was cute and decorated well. The whole house had decorations everywhere as Gail likes...

Wonderful stay. Gail and Scott were great hosts. Enjoyed the parfait for breakfast. Make sure you turn on the heater in the room when you get there as it takes a little time for them to warm up. Beautiful interior.

First of all the hosts, Gail and Scott are friendly and warm people. They were very helpful on giving advice to area attractions and made several worthwhile suggestions. All were much appreciated. If you are looking for a luxurious hotel type setting w nice amenities - move on. The rooms have an old feeling to them. Staying there for several...

Peaceful, cozy, beautiful, friendly and delicious! These words describe my stay on Tuesday the Crofting Inn. I can't say enough good things about the Crofting. The hosts were so gracious and friendly. They made you feel like honored guests. You could tell that the Inn is their passion. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast was "to die for."...

Searching for a Cloudcroft B&B, this was a great find. Good location, close to all shops, etc, Nice folks running it. No elevator, two stories, quaint and nicely fitted rooms. Especially fin, if there's snow, to get a sled and try oiut the little roads all around, short, but sweet. Lots to do around Cloudcroft, hiking, shopping, bike riding, exploring,...

This was our third annual trip to Cloudcroft for a family reunion. The Crofting Inn was the best place we've stayed yet. We arrived late on Friday night and the owner, Scott, met us outside with a flashlight to show us where to park. He greeted us warmly and assisted us with our bags up the stairs to our room....

We really enjoyed staying at this B&B in Cloudcroft; our host couple was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were lovely and comfortable. We really enjoyed chatting with the other guests in the living room in the evening and again before breakfast. We enjoyed a tasty and substantial breakfast before heading back down to the desert to resume our tour...

The Crofting inn is decorated with local antiques around the age of the home. It has that "curl up in a chair with a good book" ambiance in the sitting room. Had a great chat with the owners over a cup of tea in the evening. Bed was comfy, and the view of mountain forest, just what I was hoping...

My husband and I made a reservation on a whim as we were traveling through New Mexico. Spent one night in this cute little mountain town and had a restful sleep and comfortable accommodations at this inn. The hosts, Scott and Gayle, are lovely and welcoming but not intrusive. They prepared us a delicious homemade breakfast and were interesting to...

This is one of the few B&Bs that allow one-night stays in the Sacramento Mountains of New Mexico. You can tell that Gail works her tail off getting rooms ready for new guests and cooking breakfast for the sometimes-large morning crowd. The rooms are clean and the property is easy walking distance to "downtown" Cloudcroft (restaurants, taverns, shopping, etc.), although...
