This is one of the best heritage tourists' place in NM. It now has a new owner, and it is on its way to revival, thank goodness. The grounds do need some TLC, but so does the rest of the physical plant...but the people who work there, especially the manager and the restaurant manager are the greatest. Their Sunday brunch...

Went on a family vacation to the mountains to visit Cloudcroft and we were excited to stay in an old "haunted" hotel. Unfortunately nothing about this stay was as advertised. First of all, our room was not in the cool old hotel at all. Instead we stayed half a mile down the road at their annex. No atmosphere, no ghost,...

Great food fine dining and service. Beautiful location. Owned by Conrad Hilton before chains. Many famous people stayed at the Lodge. Almost 9000 altitude. Only been in spring. Close to Ruidoso. Will visit again.

We have been here a number of times over the years. I have downgraded this place one notch in this review. The hotel is under new ownership and there are a few minor rough spots that need ironing out. We always come here on a package deal where room and food at the hotel's restaurant are bundled together. In the...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review! There have been changes with the new owners, but it has not changed how our packages should be processed in Rebecca's. We would like to speak with you more about your recent stay with us, especially about your experience at Rebecca's. Please call us at your earliest convenience. We hope...

Friends told us about this gem or we might not have found it!!! This Lodge, Hotel, Spa is over 100 years old and housed the rich and famous over the years at 9000 feet. We asked if we could have a room with two beds and were given the wonderful two Queen room on the first floor of the main...

We spent just one night at The Lodge this week and found it to be a very charming hotel in a beautiful mountain location......yes, it's old and doesn't have all the most modern rooms or conveniences; but it's comfortable enough and filled with history related to the days when the railroad was so important in this part of New Mexico....

We strive to satisfy our guests expectations. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts! We have passed on your comments to the Kitchen Manager, so that the staff can be thanked for their service. Come see us again, we have many changes and upgrades coming soon, while keeping the old charm you enjoyed.

The Lodge and Spa at Cloudcroft is an older hotel full of history and maybe a ghost. They keep the older feel for the hotel on purpose so it is full of interesting antiques and charm. Yet right out the door is a fascinating golf course that starts at over 9,000 ft. While the hubby was out golfing I was...

This old gem is a treat for enthusiasts of historic hotels with lots of character. Our double room accommodated our family of three well enough. The staff is friendly while giving you enough space not to feel bothered. The restaurant served some quite spectacular meals with a fairly good wine list. It is located within minutes of several hiking trails...

We spent 2 nights in this lovely historic hotel. The rooms were beautiful. Nicely appointed. The king size bed was quite comfortable and the in-room hot tub was a treat. The hotel staff pays attention to detail. Most of all the place was VERY quiet. I can't wait to come back
