We've been to Chimayo many times but this is the first time we stayed overnight. Casa Escondida is so very charming and enabled us to eat dinnner (and lunch) at Rancho de Chimayo and then return to relax here at our B & B. In addition to the charm, our bed was very comfortable and the linens luxurious. We're hoping... More

Glad that you enjoyed them as well. Keep in mind that we also sell our fantastic luxury bed sheet sets. Just call us to order and we... More

We have stayed at Casa Escondida 3 times now and each time is better than the last. We love the location as it is central to everything in Chimayo and it's a great halfway point between Santa Fe and Taos. The room we stay in (Vista) is the best room as it has a private deck with table and chairs... More

Thanks for taking the time to post a review of your stay. It was great to have you stay with us again....and the rest of the family as well. We agree, those are stunning mountain views from the deck of the Vista Room! That's a great place to have your morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.... More

A lovely bed and breakfast that is centrally located for those who want to explore a number of sites in northern New Mexico. An hour's drive or less to Santa Fe, Taos, Abiquiu and Bandelier. Very Peaceful- Staff Excellent and very friendly and well trained. Breakfasts were superb. Dog friendly, and we had two large dogs who were accommodated easily. One of the best parts was the back patio (not to be missed)with thistle feeders and hummingbird feeders and constant flocks of hummingbirds, gold finches, and numerous other small and medium sized beautiful birds. Location... More

Casa Escondido is just the ticket for a quiet retreat, or family gathering. The owner and staff provide a delicious breakfast, smiles, and attention to providing the best experience for their guests. My room was just the right size, and very comfortable bed/sheets/pillow. Two enthusiastic thumbs up to stay here!

We always appreciate returning guests. It is the highest form of praise that we can get. Thank you for that and also for the nice review. So glad that you enjoyed your stay, our breakfast and the local restaurants that serve-up that fantastic, classic New Mexican cuisine. You are correct. Because we are an authentic "adobe" home, there is very... More

We arrived early, but were welcomed to the Sunroom which was perfect for my husband and me. It was a big fiesta/festival weekend roundabout, so the place was fully booked--but quiet and congenial. Our room had its own patio and both a bed and day bed. I liked best the bank of full-length windows discreetly curtained with lace, the clear... More

I can't say enough about how wonderful this B & B is. The B & B is located in a quiet residential area, not far from the award winning Rancho de Chimayo restaurant and famous Santuario de Chimayo church. Santa Fe and Taos are easy drives, so it makes a convenient base for visiting those two cities. The rooms are... More

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the B&B. Our room was great and the atmosphere was attractive and relaxing. Breakfast was delicious and they even made a gluten free dish for my mother.
