I have always wanted to stay at the Hacienda as I had eaten at the Restaurante for many years and this year I was determined. I cannot say enough good things about our night spent there. Our room was reasonably priced, huge, quiet (no TV, no WIFI), had a king very comfortable bed, lovely historic grounds and our breakfast served... More

Desperately looking for a different place to enjoy northern New Mexican food and of course turned to trip advisor. Oh man! We had an early dinner there after visiting Chimayo mission. We were promptly seated by very professional staff and our drinks and appetizers came were delivered right away. We asked our very kind server for suggestions and she asked... More

We recently spent a wonderful "staycation" at the Rancho de Chimayo Hacienda. While the 7-room hacienda is rustic (part of it is 150 years old), it is well kept, quaint, charming Northern NM style, and comfortable. We enjoyed using the fireplace every night and sitting on the balcony during the day. There is no Wi-Fi, cell phone service, or TV.... More

We spent the night in room UNO. It was very nice. The room was spacious. The location is good..right across the street from the restaurant. I thought that the rate was reasonable and I would stay here again. The only drawback is that there is no wifi and no cell phone service.

We stayed here in 1990 for our honeymoon, and returned for our 25th wedding anniversay to find the same charming inn and the same wonderful restuarant across the street, run by the same family. This time we stayed longer, in fact we stayed here instead of in Santa Fe, and we loved every minute of it. Walking across the street... More

This hacienda could be sooo charming...but...the room we stayed in was musty! Not to mention the shower had mold around the tub and the pillows were so flat and smelly! The pillows did not have protective covers on them... only pillow cases, so I decided to place the bath towels over them. The bed comforter was ripped and had not... More

Very nice location between Taos and SantaFe. A nice retreat from the outside world as there is no TV, Cell or WIFI. The rooms are large and comfortable. We had adjoining rooms with my brother and sister-in-law, and we enjoyed evening discussions after a wonderful meal at the restaurant. The breakfast is continental and delivered to your room. Coffee is... More

We really enjoyed the quiet break during our ten day trip to New Mexico. Very refreshing to have no wifi or cell service. The cool mountain air was exactly what we needed to escape the summer Texas heat. Our room was charming with a small porch off the living room. Our breakfast was delivered to the porch. This place is... More

We have stayed at Rancho de Chimayo Hacienda a number of times. Comfortable rooms in a historic adobe building, the Sanctuary of Chimayo and the famous Rancho de Chimayo Restaurant-what else could you want?
