No wi-if. No TV. Beautiful courtyard. Comfortable, homey room. Glowing fireplace for an evening of warmth. Such a wonderful place to stay. Breakfast at Rancho de Chimayo restaurant. A restful hideaway from a hectic world.

Since I first visited Chimayo in 2008, it became and has remained one of my favourite places and the Rancho de Chimayo Hacienda one of those places you would travel a long way to rest in. I have always stayed here with a friend (the same friend) who insisted on checking every one of their 7 rooms before deciding which... More

Dinner across the street and cozy, comfortable lodging after a long day of sightseeing in Northern NM - could not have been better. The courtyard in the morning was sunny and pleasant, and the staff very welcoming. I've wanted to stay here for about 30 years -- the wait was worth it!

What a wonderful place. Of course the restaurant is great but to be able to eat there and then head over to bed is magical. And it's made even more so by the setting with its views if the mountains and beautiful furniture. And the mornings are lovely.

We stayed here 8 years ago and agin last week. Viola runs a tight ship and it seems that not much changes. It's relaxing, cosy, friendly, comfortable and directly across the road from one of the very best restaurants in NM. Breakfasts are more about sharing the beautiful courtyard with other guests than the food and coffee. It's all perfect!

We have stayed here twice - and both times were memorable. Make sure you ask for the housemade Biscochitos - yummalicious. The Kiva in the room was spectacular. The crystal knobs on the doors and the squeak in the floor were all part of the charm.

We had a very pleasant one-night stay here. You are staying in Chimayo and it is rustic. This B&B has no TV, AC and sketchy wireless service. But, we loved our room because it was large and airy and we had plenty of space to move around in. You can hear street traffic but it stopped before 10 p.m. then... More

I have been to Rancho de Chimayo three times in the past 30yrs and have never been disappointed with the atmosphere, service or food. The Chimayo Cocktail is a refreshing twist using apple cider, lemon juice, crème de cassis and tequila. Sitting outside on the terrace is a perfect place to enjoy the essence of being in a historic place.

This is not for the restaurant but only for the "hacienda". We have been coming to Chimayo for the food for years and decided to try the "Country Inn Bed and Breakfast" for a night before we ended our vacation. I am not a B&B veteran so did not know what to expect. True it is a 150 year old... More

I have always wanted to stay at the Hacienda as I had eaten at the Restaurante for many years and this year I was determined. I cannot say enough good things about our night spent there. Our room was reasonably priced, huge, quiet (no TV, no WIFI), had a king very comfortable bed, lovely historic grounds and our breakfast served... More
