Our stay at the Chama Station Inn was just perfect. Walking distance from the railroad and the various small shops in town. We have been staying here for years to enjoy the amazing firework show Chama has to offer every year. We have never been disappointed by the hotel or the staff. Everyone is always so helpful when needed and... More

We were travelling on the Cumbres Toltec railway and wanted to stay nearby. We found this inn on-line. The website portrayed a quaint, old fashioned establishment which seemed appealing. When we checked in we were not told that the office would close at 6:30pm. We found our room, though quaint, had no air conditioning, no refrigerator, poor wifi and a... More

Are you kidding me?! Located directly across the street from the Cumbres and Toltec Railroad. There's a whistle to wake you up in the morning and one to say goodnight. The sights, sounds and smells of the rail yard drift to you through the air from the monument. There are two different experiences can await you. There is the original... More

The name certainly isn't misleading; one can sit in the lovely garden listening to the shunting noises from just across the road. I imagine that most people stay here to use the Cumbres & Toltec Railroad (which will be separately reviewed). The Inn is charming and quaint, but quaintness often brings with it creaking floorboards and plumbing noises, as was... More

My husband and I had a very pleasant two-night stay at the Chama Station Inn. It is right across the street from the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad Station and you can hear the steam locomotives and whistles during the day. The Inn is quaint, picturesque and totally wonderful. The rooms (of which there are only 9) are each individually... More

This is a sweet little hotel in Chama with small but comfortable rooms. It is directly opposite the station area and is recommended before taking the early morning train to Antonito. There is ample parking beside he hotel.

At last minute decision to stay in town before our train ride the next morning got us a room at this little gem. I loved the quaint little place. Since we got the last room all they had was a full size bed on 2nd floor and we are not big people so bed was cozy for my fiancé and... More

This hotel is ideal for folks who enjoy something a little different from the modern "interstate type" motels. The location is perfect, within walking distance to the train and two of Chama's few restaurants. The setting with the gardens (including a hummingbird) was very nice. The room (#6) was clean and the bed comfortable. The owners were friendly and made... More

Located across the street from the Chama Train Station and in the center of Town. Perfect for people who want to take the train and leave their car at the off street parking area. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

We choose this because of the location to the train. The clerk was very friendly and helpful. The gardens are gorgeous and we'll taken care of. Our room was upstairs and very clean. They have screen doors so we could enjoy having the door open. Our bed was nice, pillows good. No bathtub but a nice shower. Nice variety of... More
