Best place to stay in Chama NM. Wonderful accommodation, very near to the train station. Rooms very clean, bed very soft, breakfast AMAZING. Ken makes everyone welcome from all over the world. Our breakfast table had a German, Brit, Texans, Virginia, Oklahoma, Miami, and Santa Fe residents.

We stayed at Gandy Dancer October 14 and October 15, 2016. Breakfast was delightful for my husband and me. I requested vegan, and he requested low carb. Lovely food. Room was spacous and included rocking chair Keurig coffee maker available at all times. Hosts Ken and Veronica very helpful. Bottled water for each day and cookies were very nice touch....

Ken welcomes you like you are coming home - the Victorian B & B (built in 1902) is pretty, warmly inviting, full of his family memorabilia and antiques. Chocolate chip cookies baking in the oven as he explained how to use the lovely common areas and coffee/tea corner. So close to the Cumbres and Toltec Railroad for those headed out...

Quiet, accommodating, kind, lots of portions of different foods for breakfast just wowed me and everything was tasty!!!We met friendly people at the breakfast table, felt very welcome and relaxed! I would return, all rooms look nice. Ours was a little too cold. A heat blanket would of been nicer than a room heater. Great place to get away near...

Ken was great. we took the train at 1000am and breakfast was at 800. He runs the place by himself and it was great.. very clean, Breakfast was awesome so much food, and good food. We got there a little early but there was a note on the door to call, and Ken told us what to do. It worked...

Some recent reviews indicated that this place may have issues, but nothing could be further from the truth in our case; we found a warm welcome, lovely room, comfortable bed and a really tasty hearty breakfast. The B and B may be up for sale but this is because the owner's are looking to move on to bigger things. However,...

Right off the bat, let me tell you I'm not usually a B & B kind of guy. I generally prefer the anonymity of a standard-issue hotel. No surprises and nothing particularly memorable. I'm a low-maintenance traveler and all I want is a comfortable bed, a shower, a TV, and wifi. However, my wife and I spent two nights at...

This is a charming Victorian style house, just a short walk or drive to the Chama train station. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast the next morning was very good. But there are issues. The confirmation e-mail we received stated that guests are to arrive between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm, no earlier and no later. We...

Gandy Dancer is a very nice B&B with excellent amenities that is very convenient if you are taking the train excursion. You need to be aware that the inn is currently for sale and it has no permanent innkeeper. The owner's son is putting up a HEROIC effort to keep the 7-room inn running single-handedly. He was great! He provided...

We spent two nights at the Gandy Dancer with our good friends from Albuquerque. Our stay could not have been more pleasant. Ken was an excellent host and chef. Our breakfasts were outstanding and the company around the table was superb. A joy to have experienced it and would recommend the B&B and the host to anyone.
