We spent the night before taking the train the next morning. The rooms are very quiet and comfortable. The wifi was not working while we were there due to the weather. There is a walking trail with some chairs on overlooks along the river. Since it was raining we didn't linger. Wish we would have stayed a second night.

I spent a week at this Lodge while doing volunteer work on the railroad. This Lodge is a a neat, clean , restful, retreat from the busy world. The owners take you in like family. Located on the Chama river just south of the town center . I will stay again on a future visit. Bob

Quaint little lodge in a beautiful setting. There is a long string of lodge rooms each with a screen door and bench and a handful of cabins in the lot. There was a fridge and microwave, table and chairs in the room and a loveseat in our room King room. My only complaint is that the tub was pretty scuffed...

Nice Rooms and people....seemed a bit high in price. Good location in town, easy to get around and rooms are drive up meaning you can go right out the door to your car. Was clean! Will stay there again

That is my 1 word description of this rare gem! We had an epic overnight stay. Plenty to do for the kids, too. We BBQed for dinner and then roasted marshmallows for smores. We also enjoyed the hot tub and went down to the river and had an adventure all our own! What a fun spot to stay. We will...

I was given two nights stay and a trip on the Cumbres Toltec Railroad for my birthday. What a great escape from the city. The folks at the Lodge were so friendly and helpful. I will stay there again. It made me reminisce of some of the places I stayed at as a kid with my family on our family...

Nice little log cabin type rooms. Adequate but not fancy. There's a little playground for kids. A little walk to the small creek (river?). Not much of a breakfast, we went to eat in Chama instead. We would stay again.

We stayed in one of the Cabins and it was clean and conformable. However, the rest of the site left a lot to be desired. The laundry facilities were broken, the continental breakfast consisted of toast and juice. Overall an okay place to stay

Cabin stated one bedroom, loft and living area with pull out. The loft is a platform loft - cannot even kneel without bending our heads. During the night we heard rodents on the outside and were fearful of them getting in. During the day, notice copious rodent droppings on the outside below from where the sound came from. Blankets were...
