Spent 2 nights here wished we stayed at least 2 more. My husband and I love cabins and this was one of the nicest we every stayed in. Could not believe how quiet and peaceful and how dark. It was off season and only a few people were there I am sure it gets very busy in the summer. The... More

This place was the absolute best ever. Great little cabin with a full kitchen, full bathroom, living room with fireplace (which we used). Grounds were gorgeous. There was a game room where we played ping pong. There was also a place to play horseshoes, bocce ball, swings, a pool (closed for the winter).

We've been going to Corkin's for several years and have stayed in several different cabins. We've used the Log House for Staff Retreats and the other cabins for personal use. They are always nice and well-maintained. The manager, Philo, is always friendly and glad to see you. Corkin's is a great spot to rest and relax.

We rented the Log Cabin with a group of 11, including 6 kids for 4 nights. We had visited this resort 7-8 years ago and wanted to return for the wildlife and nature. The cabin is roomy and beautifully designed, but had a bad problem with mice. We complained, and they left 2 mouse traps on our picnic table. We... More

We usually stay in one of the inexpensive cabins but due to scheduling problems splurged for a newer one. With grand babies needing constant supervision and a place for naps, this three bedroom was awesome. The design was perfect. I watched the full moon rise from my bed every night. The kitchen was lovely. We come here every year and... More

We've been coming to Corkins for years during most summers. It's such a great place with something for everyone. The cabins are cozy and the quiet atmosphere is very peaceful. I've seen others post complaints about a dog on the property that scares the wildlife away. While it's true that they do have a dog, we still say plenty of... More

Been going there for 9 years and always stay at the Ponderosa. We actually have a ranch with about 1/2 the size of land but love the high elevation and getting away from cattle. I am not sure about the old owners comings and goings but with the new ones you can't rent while he and his group are visiting.... More

This was the perfect area for a mother/daughter trip where hiking and exploring were top priorities. The cabin was great--and several deer wandered up to visit each evening. The location is beautiful with the river and cliff views. There is a heated pool and all the cabins are configured so there is quiet for all. Within the area are local... More

I have been coming to Corkins' Lodge with my family for over 50 years. During that time, we have probably rented a cabin 25 times for at least an overnight stay. Just returned from our latest stay and while still nice, this may be our last visit. When Phil and Fran Corkin owned the place, you used to be able... More

We have been annual visitors to Corkins for a big part of my life but sadly have decided to end the tradition. In reading the reviews I am surprised to not see any complaints regarding the fishing. Perhaps many visitors are just content to enjoy the scenery and solitude but at $275.00 a night for an 80 year old cabin... More
