This was a quiet, older park, with what looked like many long-term residents. Staff was helpful and friendly, and recommended a great little restaurant (Greenside Cafe) just down the road. We'll definitely stay here again when traveling this route. Terry

Read the review from RV Nut 2013 - he hit the nail on the head. My boyfriend and I stayed here this past week during the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta. NOT like the website photos made it out to appear. Lots of the so-called shade trees in the RV section have been cut down, leaving large stumps (or cut branches... More

We stayed at the Turquoise Trail RV park in Cedar Crest on our visit to Albuquerque. This is a great park if you are looking for a quaint and quiet location with beautiful views and scenery and the sounds of birds versus traffic. It is a wonderful location as a basecamp for visiting all of the small towns along the... More

We spent one night in our motor home at this location & really enjoyed our stay. The park is clean, quiet, & the RV parking spaces are large & comfortable. This campground sits in a lovely wooded area very close the Sandia Mountain. It's a great place to stay if you are looking to enjoy the mountains. I highly recommend... More

Nice campground, RV area could look better. No museum, closed due to funding. The swings for the kids need replacing. The cabin was nice. We reserved the larger one to have a shower and toilet in the restroom. Says it has a kitchenette but that consists of a microwave and sink. The bathroom has a gap in the ceiling and... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at this campground and absolutely loved it. Each tent site has sufficient privacy from the others and all of our neighbors were incredibly friendly. It was very peaceful and quiet. Bathrooms were very clean and I was satisfied with my shower. Didn't check out the laundry or dishwashing station because we didn't need it. Only... More

What's not to love about this place? Cool nights ,plenty of trees, surrounded by Sandia foothills, great water and a level pull thru. Additionally, very friendly folks and great places to walk our Border Collie. Oh yes...it's about 15 mminutes east of ABQ at about 7000 ft elevation. No better place when ABQ is your destination. Nit pickers will always find... More

We chose this park based on reviews from tripadviser and Yelp and the fact that it was away from the interstate, yet close enough to tour nearby towns, including ABQ. When we turned off the main road, I jokingly took a picture of the dirt trail and texted it to my friend, quoting a low budget horror film scene. While... More

Wanted to car camp. Drove in past dark and was quickly approached by grounds keeper. Friendly man-he helped us find a spot, showed us the bathroom area, explained the hot shower system (swap $ for coins to operate), then let us get settled. My friend and I realized the ground was too muddy for our new tent and we didn't... More

The weather was perfect for the week I stayed. Really nice. The tent area was clean and well managed. The bathrooms and showers clean and the water hot.Barb was a exemplary host and was helpful on any issue that arose. Wi-Fi was spotty in the tent area but near th office it was good. I brought my mountain bike and... More
