We had to relocate from a wilderness area camp ground in the middle of the night due to a storm. We found this place at random and were super pleased with how simple it was to sign ourselves in despite the time of night. The rate was also very reasonable. It’s very well cared for and the bathrooms especially are very nice.
One of the nicest RV parks we have stayed... trees clean and not on the highway... very little noise. Very clean and decent wifi. We stayed 5 nights and wished it could have been longer. We try to fish the San Juan twice a year and will definitely be back
Traveling full-time in a 42-foot coach we have stayed in over 400 RV Parks, we stayed here one night. (1) Clean, quiet and well-maintained park with great amenities is what you will find here along with a very friendly staff. (2) We live in the age of WIFI technology and there is nothing to stop any RV Park across this country from investing in doing WIFI properly. This park receives 5-stars for their great WIFI. (3) Level pads, big coaches need paved or thick gravel pads that are level. We give this park a 5-star rating in this category. (4) Maneuverability, some parks have very narrow roads which make backing up and turning very difficult, we found this park to have plenty of room to maneuver. (5) Satellite, as you know satellite reception is very hard to receive when you have large trees. If you stay away from the sites with the tall trees to the south you will receive reception. (6) Phone Service, we have AT&T which worked great here. (7) Dog play and potty, plenty of room to walk your dog here, there is even a fenced dog run. The Bad…. We had a pull-thru site but could not attach our tow car until after we pulled out. Our site was very long, but there wasn't enough room to pull out of our site without having to back up. Maneuverability with a smaller coach and tow car might be possible. Dust, this place is very dusty compared to many other parks, no grass front here.…
They have accommodations for RVs of any size as well as tent campers. Site spaces are spacious, and the road wide for easy navigation. The Park has nice trees scattered throughout, the restroom facilities were very good, the price quite reasonable, and best of all it is QUIET (no road noise, as it is away from any highway). It does not have cable TV, however. I've stayed at a lot of places this summer, and this was one of the best, especially for the price. All the good stuff other reviews have written about this place is true.
Although this RV Park feels like you’re still in town, it has all the amenities you could want in an RV park. It was super easy to find and close to everything. It really was perfect for our family visiting Chaco Canyon from out of state. The bathrooms and showers were really clean and also close to all the sites. The sites were good sized and not too close to each other. It was a cute place with trees and rose bushes around the property. There was free WiFi, a pool and playground for the kids, and a puppy park for letting your dogs do their business. The staff were very helpful at check in with all of my questions. They made our stay even better! We’d stay again and recommend Moore’s to anyone passing through or visiting Chaco Canyon.
