Restaurant has nice decor and good food. Only problem is being on the main highway so heavy traffic noise throughout the night. Overall a comfortable place for an overnight stay. Being on the main road, parking can also be an issue.
Hey guys, wats up? Hope you guys doing well. So I will tell you my bhutan trip experience throughout in 7 days from 1st to 7th march 20. We went with group of friends aroung 30 people with boys and girls. We booked flight from bangalore to bagadora to reach bhutan. We all took flight @6.15 am from bangalore and reached bagadora at 8.45am in WB. It was all planned and there was two bus hired for 7 days trip with 2 local guide and two driver. We got into bus at 11.30 am and started for bhutan trip . It took around 5 to with lunch and breakfast stop on d way.We reached at 5 pm and bhutan was 30 min ahead with india.Hotel was quite okay as was all taken care by guide and tourist package. After fresh & up we got ready and went out to see city and for shopping. Phuntsholing is full neat and clean city, no noise, no honk , no rush for traffic. We did shopping and had food in one veg restaurent. Food was bit spicy and liquor wa very cheap, many people got bottols to home while return. Bhutani eat mostly momos , non veg and alcohol. Next day we had to leave for phunakah so we got readyand started for phunakah.Pls check pics for detail. Keep watching for more updates. Cheers😍😍😍 Have fun🙂🙂…
It’s just about ok with basics and hygiene in place. Staff was cooperative and helpful. Food was generally good, breakfast spread could have been better. Seemed to be understaffed in late evenings and some basic amenities like hair-dryer was shared between rooms. Washroom at reception could do with some cleaning. Ok for an in-transit stay.
Most importantly the staff is polite and courteous. Location wise its more app to stay at this hotel considering, proximity to visa office, markets, you even have the Buddhist Template just in front of you. The rooms are very well lit, and are spacious. You can go for evening walks around the corner, you can shop and eat the local delicious food at the nearby restaurants. Especially Zomkey restaurant and bar which serves good food. We also get best of the thupkas at small stores. The taste of which you will relish. A tip, please buy souvenirs from Phuentsholing as they are cheaper and best quality.
Visited Bhutan along with my wife in December '19 & stayed in Park Hotel, Phuentsholing; we had booked this hotel for one-night stay on our way to Paro. The check-in was absolutely hassle free & smooth; the rooms were spacious & clean, with almost all the amenities that one comes to expect. The restaurant was very well decorated with sumptuous foods, at reasonable price. Main advantage of this hotel is that it's located within a 2 mins walking distance from the immigration office, that makes it very easy for travelers to get the entry permit. Special mention must be made for Ms Tshering Yuden, who made the entire process of obtaining the entry permit totally seamless & smooth; she provided us with the form, took the pain of preparing our tour itinerary,& all of these ensured that it took even less than 5 mins to get our passports stamped with the permit. The hotel also provided us with the vehicle for our entire trip, along with driver, Mr. Dendup Norbu, & he eventually became our friend & guide for this memorable tour. On our return journey, Park Hotel also upgraded our room at no extra cost; excellent experience & would highly recommend this hotel to all…
Beautiful and very helpful staff. Hotel is we'll located just beside buddist temple. The restaurant serves very delicious food and the waitresses are very helpful. But housekeeping is not available on call
Recently on 08.12.2019 we a group of 5 checked in to this property on our way to Thimpu. The check in was quite smooth and more especially the front desk lady Ms.Tshering Yuden took every care for our check in and other basic comforts. The rooms were quite decent with clean bed sheets and towels but the wash room was lacking certain basic amenities. The dinner provided was quote good and reasonable but the morning breakfast was not up to the standard. The choices were quite limited which the management should look in to. The basic advantage of this property is its location which is just next to the immigration office which is an added advatage. Overall a nice stay in the property.
We had a comfortable stay in park hotel Bhutan couple of days back. It's walking distance from immigration office so it is very easy to go there early in morning for permit and for the same reason we had chosen this hotel. They have two single beds in std rooms. If you want double bed they'll just join those which is not very comfortable. Bedsheets were little dirty so we asked for new ones in night. This can be improved I guess. They surely need to improve on availability of hot water. You need to switch on the gyser 30 min prior to get hot water which in very inconvenient in morning. Food is good here. We had lunch and dinner in hotel only and food is quite good. Breakfast is also sufficient with limited options. Would recommend this place for food and it's proximity to immigration office. …
Can improve their services esp breakfast etc They need to serve more hot food, otherwise they are ok with the room services. Price charged is quite expensive compared to their facilities provided. Overall a quitesome exp
It's a good and premium Hotel in border town of Bhutan, but I fond it little expensive compare to other hotels but overall stay was satisfactory and comfortable, staff was courteous and helpful. Food is delicious and tasty but little long wait time so you order everything in one go, I booked this hotel through online using MakeMyTrip website.
