Our room was great, over looking the castle and the town. The quality was also great, comfy large bed, crisp, clean white linen. The room was very clean, absolutely nothing to complain about with the standard of the room. it was also cleaned daily (stayed 5 nights), bed made, new towels etc. The rooms don't have lots of extras you might expect in a European hotel no (tea and coffee facility, that kind of thing), but I think for Albania, its very high standard.

The restaurant where we dined was lovely, great views again over the town and castle, again very clean. There is a good menu for lunch / dinner (same menu), plenty to choose from - traditional food mainly, but also pasta / pizza available. Everything we ate or saw being served looked fresh and generous portions. We ate as a group for one meal, a traditional Albanian family meal, which was amazing!! Lots of different dishes and meat from the grill, a memorable meal.

Breakfast, the first morning we were served a plate of food, without choice, which was egg, cheese, pitta, tomato, cucumber, preserves and cakes. So plenty to eat. We also got orange juice and coffee. The following mornings we were asked if we wanted something different, and ate the traditional breakfast of Pilaff (really nice but very filling!!) eggs on toast and toast and preserves. All lovely and again generous portions.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. We only had one small issue, which was a shame, as we left we ate dinner and one of our three dishes didn't arrive, but no-one apologised or seemed bothered. It did feel a bit like you are leaving so not really bothered!! Cost was taken off our bill without asking.

Would have been the full marks if it hadn't been for the one slip up!! But it would not stop me from staying there again, and I would definitely recommend it.

Five stars experience!

We stayed at the hotel Panorama in September 2023. The hotel itself is a majestic ethnic-modern building with great views, located in the heart of the ancient town of Kruja. We were welcomed by a very friendly staff that did the impossible to accommodate us in a room in a fully booked hotel.

We stayed on the second floor and the room itself was spacious, well lighted, clean, equipped with a big balcony with beautiful views of the castle. Inside there were three beds, two singles and one queen, enough for a family of four. The bed sheets were snow white clean and the pillows were comfortable. The room temperature was regulated with a thermostat, which stayed comfortably around 22* celcius. During night time you could feel a pleasant cool breeze coming from the room's air vents. Wifi was excellent.

The bathroom had a modern atmosphere. The shower area was inside an enclosure to prevent water splashing around, the pressure was adequate, hot or cold water in a few seconds. There were the toilet and the bidet and the sink area was nearby with all the necessary amenities. Plenty of clean towels were stacked on a two level rack near the shower.

Now the breakfast (free). This is another element where the hotel Panorama excels at. Too many choices available, boiled or scrambled eggs, different cakes, strudels, jams, yogurt, cheese, butter, hot milk, coffee, tea, juices, etc ... etc. All together, there could have been 25-30 food items for the breakfast only.

As a side note - I was glad to notice that some good locations in the town were undergoing new construction, especially new hotels and restaurants, like in the old bazaar area, which has seen new additions of old style shops and a new restaurant/hotel.

All in all a very enjoyable experience.

This was my second time here and I loved my stay again. My room had a gorgeous view across the old town and the fortress. The rooms have wonderful balconies where you can sit and enjoy the view. The hotel staff was friendly and wonderful from the nice man who helped us park our car, to the man at the front desk, and to our wonderful, friendly waiter we had a dinner. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet I had on my previous visit and the locally-inspired breakfast plate they provided during this time of covid, the deep fried egg was delicious. This was my second visit and it will be where I stay if I come again.

From the moment we arrived til the drive away, we felt welcome, safe and at home. From the front desk staff, to the restaurant wait staff, the pool and parking people, we were always just one question away from a solution.
After the staff, the second greatest asset is that view. In addition to the castle and town, from our balcony we could see Tirana, the airport, even Durres and the sea clearly.
The room was nice with a large bed (for Europe), nice bath and pleasant balcony. All of the extras that you can't take for granted in Europe are there. Fridge, hair dryer, English channels on the TV, yep, check.
The restaurant was so delightful. The food was delicious, selection good and staff attentive. We ate our 3 meals there on the balcony over looking the view mentioned above.
The breakfast was wonderful. They just assume you are hungry and bring you a large platter and it's all good.
We are in Albania for 6 months and plan to return.

Set on a hillside overlooking a valley to the ancient castle of Kruje, the location is spectacular. Floodlit by night or shrouded in mist or rain by day, the sight of the ancient castle and the valley below from the Panorama hotel is not to be missed whether staying there or visiting for dinner. The rooms are comfortable, the food is excellent and the staff are efficient and welcoming. Our itinerary only allowed one night here, but we would gladly have stayed longer to explore the town and surrounding area.

The hotel is fine and the views are lovely. I’m rating it 3 stars because it felt like it was trying to be a bit corporate and not at all green. The breakfast was ok but too many options, no fresh fruit, no honey just little plastic packages of honey and syrup. The shower leaked from underneath really badly but we were only there one night so they might fix that quickly. We stayed in some nice places in Albania and this was trying to be American which was a bit of a pity I think.

The view is really nice from the tarrace but...almost all the hotels in Kruje have a beautifull view, so its not special. Breakfast was not so good: fruit and chees was not fresh. But you can get a good cappuccino which is included. The staff is not so friendly. We were there two nights and both of them they had the wedding party downstairs with loud music.
We requested a quiet room and received the one on the 4th floor which was under renovation. Every day they were working there with machines making a lot of noise and dust. Because of this we could not seat on the balcony. At 8 p.m. we requested them to stop as we wanted to spend some time on the balcony. They only closed a door of balcony in the renovated room near us, but were still working with the machines.
We discovered many other small family hotels which are much nicer to stay.

We stayed for one night. Room was fine with a balcony and overlooking the castle. However the mouse from adjacent rooms was intolerable. Walls very thin? Also the call to prayer from the mosque. Air on not working - probably because it was October? Bathroom ok.
The restaurant was good though spoiled by an Italian nearby who thought that speaking to friends in Italy meant you had to put the phone on speaker and shout very loudly. Staff were excellent.

Great hotel , very clean , tidy and the views are spectacular. Very peaceful few days to relax and unwind . Couldn't fault it.
The staff were all friendly . The pool is adequate and has a jacuzzi but it only worked for one day we were there .
Would have liked some English news channels on TB but It is what it is .
The bar upstairs was closed until 2 pm but you could order what you wanted via a Ring doorbell and they brought It up to you. It states a fitness room but that's a bit of a joke to be honest . That's my only complaint .
Would definitely return here

The room we got was clean and spacious with a balcony and a perfect view of the old bazaar and the castle. Easily accessible and great service from the staff. We had dinner at their restaurant and it was delicious. Try their appetizers, the meat combo and ask for their wine recommendations. Breakfast was also perfect. We opted for their recommendations and were super happy. A great experience at this hotel. Kudos to the hotel and the restaurant staff

Hi, yes, they do have elevators to the other floors. But, as long as I remember, you should first take some stairs to go to the lobby. Maybe there is another entrance for people with special needs (Such as wheelchairs) that I am not aware of. the best is the email/call them directly.
