Situated well above the plains below balcony views are superb. The room was somewhat small but adequate, given that we had booked a budget room at the last minute for this short stay, at a very low price. Checkin/out was swift and professional with idiomatic English and a warm welcome, and the breakfast was as good as we have found anywhere we have travelled, there is something for everyone, it is plentyful, exceptionally well presented and prepared. Coffee is however poor by Albanian standards. We would have given 5 stars but for the appaling service in the restaurant. After sitting around for in excess of 20 minutes, no-one had even caught out eye, far less taken an order, and we had to approach a waiter chatting to his friends at the bar. In return we were dismissively given a menu, and the waiter continued his conversation. We then had to approach another waiter with our order, followed by having to approach yet an other one to ask for the bill and pay it. At no time did any of them acknowlege or existance, far less offer any measure of service. Truly atrociously lazy and very disrespectful of paying guests. The food was however really good, with good portions and really good value for money Beyond that we really did enjoy the hotel, feel that they've got a lot to offer, and will probably go back for a few days. This time we'll pay more for a better room, which we're sure will be well worth it.…
Rooms with a view of the castle are amazing! The rooftop terrace is amazing! Breakfast buffet is amazing! Everything was great - clean rooms and comfortable beds. Cannot go wrong here .... staff is very helpful as well.
The Good This is supposed to be the nicest hotel in town. The view of the castle from the rooms is lovely and there’s also a balcony too. The staff are all very nice and check in and check out were very easy. The Bad Considering how small the town is, this was by far the noisiest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. There was a wedding the night I stayed and the loud music with heavy bass went on until 5 AM. I felt like the whole room was vibrating. I would have complained except I had no idea that weddings in this country go on through the night. I thought it would end around midnight. I’m sure there aren’t many options for wedding facilities in town, but it’s not really fair to paying guest of the hotel to get no sleep if there are unlucky to book during an event. I think this hotel is listed as 3 star, but it closer to 2 in my opinion. The rooms are large but very basic. The amount of mold/mildew at the entire base of the shower was really gross. Since the shower faces the toilet, you can’t help but see it. The hotel dinner and breakfast were not very good at all, but at least it’s very inexpensive. The Rest Probably due to the fact that they’re very limited options for places to stay in this town, it’s doubtful that the hotel has any plans to fix any of their issues. They are definitely overdue for renovations. If there’s an option to move on to another town and not stay in town overnight I would highly recommend doing that.…
Very good hotel at kruje . It is really enjoyable view of the castle from the balcony. Food was also good. Market street to do shopping is also nearby. The streets have a pebbled ones and hence walking has to be done carefully.
The largest hotel in Kruja set on several levels with lovely balcony views to the rear to see castle and museum, there is however a mosque very close by so 0415 wake up to the call to prayer The reception opens straight into the garage and there is a large pollution from car fumes and the smells, the door really should be closed and the reception staff did not seem to be very attentive and often reception had no staff yet guest luggage was left to the side of the desk presenting a security risk Yet again for a hotel in Albania the sheet is left on the bed and has to be made by the guest Breakfast was a good choice, lots of different fruits, pastries breads, jams and honey. The coffee was very bitter and too strong, the hot selection was poor and not replaced very often so not very hot And eggs were greasy. Restaurant staff were very helpful and on dinner the night before they coped well with a table of ten with separate bills and drink prices were very reasonable for a hotel in Albania, though food was more expensive that in other regions…
