We stayed at a homestay which is affiliated with the Ngoc Sang homestay and right next door to the main house. Our homestay family consisted of the english-speaking daughter, an old always-smiling boat driver, and the most lovely old Vietnamese lady that I have met in my six months living in Vietnam. I stayed with family and friends for two...

What really stood out about this homestay was how much the people cared for you. I had a few unlucky experiences in which they were amazing and really looked after me. I had arrived at the ferry port and I had badly burnt my leg on a motorbike. A man came to help me- taking me to a restaurant to...

This Homestay is great. They picked me up at the boat even though I didn't have a confirmation. Meals are delicious and the boat trip is very good. They are very nice and helpful. The Homestay itself is comfortable (hammocks outside) and very clean.

I liked this homestay. The people are friendly and they picked us up from the ferry. Room is simple and ok. There's 5 rooms, connected through the ceiling. At night it was very quiet. They have nice hangmats to relax. I really liked the food, we made fresh springrolls with steamed fish and we had chicken with rice. Dinner and...

We stayed there for one night only but we wished we would have stayed more. The family was really kind, they paid for the ferry from Vinh Long and arranged moto-taxi to the home stay. The room was spacious and really clean, with a fan and a mosquito net. The food was very good and there was a lot (fish,...

We had a good one night stay there. We didn't have to look for a home stay for long, the sister found us at the supermarket while we were buying water. She drove us until de ferry, where the other part of the family were waiting for us the other side. The house is huge and communal, with wooden room...

There was no A/C! But we had a great time and met cool people. The cat that lives there is a thousand years old and very vocal. And equally as loud are the roosters. BUT the people were very kind and all the motorbike drivers will know where to take you. Ferry ride across the river is super simple and...

We visited this island after Sajgon and we were happy to be in quiet place closer to nature. The owners are good organised. We met at pier in Vinh Long, they bought us tickets to the island and then we got by moto to the house ( they also paid). The house was nice located in shadow with terrace and...

We've met the owner at the bus station. In beginning we were afraid of being scammed, but he seemed so helpful and nice that we trusted him and actually we weren't disappointed. :) We were three of us, paid 10$ for each including meals and we've got that nice remote bungalow for all of us. Food is amazing, and it...

Well, this experience was perfect for me because I just want a lazy holiday, close to nature and doing nothing. Staying in An Binh island is exactly that! This is a local neighborhood; it is peaceful, green and quiet, and there is really nothing to do but immerse yourself in their everyday life. The locals barely speak english but they...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Ngoc Sang Homestay is located on An Binh Island, 10 minute from the bus station. We offer a very good all inclusive package with room (5 rooms only but with mosquito nets and fans_1 triple with one double bed and one single bed and another 4 doubles), wifi (good speed), breakfast (local coffee, tea, fruits, eggs..), Dinner (fish, chicken, spring roll, vegetables, rice...) And bicycles to visit the island for only 250 000 Dongs per person and per night. We have a relaxing area with hammocks at your disposal in the middle of our tropical garden. Our rooms are not completely separated (thin walls and open ceiling) but you will still have more privacy than in the dormitories that you will find in the other homestays around the island. We have 2 communal showers and toilets and 2 sinks separated from the showers. We provide towels and always have some various left over amenities from previous guest. We can make a Taylor Made stay for you as we also have a boat and offer a 5 hours tour around Cai Be market and / or around the island for 200 000 Dongs per person. We will serve you a typical Vietnamese diner with elephant fish and we will show you how you can make your own spring rolls! Our eggs are coming from our garden and fruits and vegetable as well. This is the perfect place to stay rather if you want to relax in a peaceful place or explore a more typical part of the Mekong Delta as An Binh island is considered as the most beautiful area of the Mekong with all its colonial houses, fruit trees and rivers which forms a very inviting labyrinths to get lost in during a bike ride.
