For the money you pay here, stay at a smaller hotel because you can get cheaper for better. The rooms are average, construction is still ongoing with barriers that are certainly not enough if you have little ones who like to roam the halls. Bathrooms are small compared to room and there are tons of ants everywhere. Honestly, go around the corner and you’ll find better at smaller establishments. Only saving grace of this hotel is it’s close to Vincom (mall).

My wife and I stayed 1 night enroute from the border at Ha Tien to Can Tho. Very reasonably priced. Good staff with reasonable English who kindly booked our next days bus trip (no commission). Clean and spacious, but very simple room. The hotel is under renovation (no noticeable noise) so there were few (if any?) other guests. They are redoing the dining room so there was no food available. There is an excellent small family restaurant on the right hand side in the street opposite. Negatives ... our room (204) had aircon units right outside the window which were quite noisy at times. No hot in the shower at night, but OK the next morning. It was cheap, quiet and cheerful ... not sure what will happen when the renovations are over and its full again.

Even though It's mentioned in Lonely Planet we wont recommend this place. Very bad experience. No breakfast at all. The matress was hard as stone and we found a huge cockroatch in the bedroom. It's very close to the ferry though

Close to ferry to the islands, there are stores and small places to eat close by. One night is all you need it's utilitarian but safe and clean. No breakfast but fridge in room so you can buy something to eat before catching the super dong to Phu Quoc

Fine stay for one night, prior to going to Phu Quok. The level of English of the receptionists was questionable :). Rooms were clean and spacious, which is to me most important. Try the restaurant across the street!
