#67 of 294 hotels in Phu Quoc Island
Hong Bin Bungalow is set on a hillside overlooking the tranquil shore of Phu Quoc Island. Here at Hong Bin Bungalow, we specialise in creating a truly relaxing hideaway where you can hang out in a hammock, cool off in the pool, take in some sun and, at the end of the day watch the sun set from the comfort of your own private balcony.Located just a ten-minute drive from Phu Quoc International Airport, and only a few minutes walk to Duong Dong Beach, you can either relax at the resort or discover some of the many activities the island has to offer such as snorkeling, fishing, exploring the night market or just relaxing on one of the many beautiful and exotic beaches. Located in the Gulf of Thailand, just 12 km south of the Cambodian coast, Phu Quoc is Vietnam’s largest island. The district of Phu Quoc includes the island itself and 21 smaller islets with a total area of 574 square kilometres and a permanent population of approximately 85,000. Ph Quoc is famous for its two traditional products; fish sauce and black pepper. The rich fishing grounds offshore provides the anchovy catch from which the prized ‘nuoc mam’ (fish sauce) is made. Pepper cultivation is located inland and more recently a pearl farm was established, producing black, pink, yellow and the more traditional white pearl.

Hong Bin Bungalow was a good deal for us, a team of 7, as we chose a VIP room, originally for 6. This place has a nice pool; take a swim during sunset and you will have lots of nice pictures. Downsides: - One toilet and bathroom only in a room for 6. - Too many stairs and no staff helped us carry our luggages.

We are here now and I have read some of the poor reviews. I don't understand them. Rooms are great, pool is clean, tiled and grouped. Staff are so helpfull and friendly. Rooms are cleaned every day, bathrooms clean and showers are top notch compared to some we have stayed in to get here. Absolute value for money with picturesque views and all amenities you could need. The walk to the main street is a bit of a walk but not a hike. Take my word for it and don't take any notice of the bad reviews. THIS PLACE IS FANTASTIC VALUE FOR MONEY. Only comment is breakfast could be a bit better, but not worth not booking because of it.

A few important pointers for guests considering to book their stay here: - Booked through Airbnb and the establishment provided free airport transfer (to and fro) as well as buffet breakfast (didn't manage to try). - Clean rooms with housekeeping daily. Pool was just outside the room and it's very convenient to take a swim. Although rooms look rather worn down but it was still OK. - Quite some distance off the main road hence renting a scooter (200k/24hrs) was essential. If not the walk is going to be 10-15mins per way between main road to your room. However there are a lot of convenient amenities nearby like minimart, food joints, massage etc. Has shuttle bus to the beach at fixed timings daily. - No issue with the bed or the room in general. Slept rather well. Very quiet and peaceful environment which helps. All in all, an enjoyable stay. I'd recommend if you are okay with the distance from main road and are looking for some peace and quiet.

We stayed here for 3 nights, hotel is nice and quite. Room is clean and nice swimming pool. Hotel is a little far from the main road or night market so it is better to rent a motorbike to visit city. Hotel also offers free electric car to night market. Price is reasonable and included buffet breakfast

We stayed five nights here. The Hong Bing Bungalows are off the main road a ways but not a difficult walk down the path to the main road. There is a laundry a few steps away, little cafes and across the main street a path to the beach where you can rent a lounge chair for the day and the cost includes a beer. Yes, the road/s to the Bungalows is pretty bumpy, but part of the experience. There too are small bars and cafes serving a variety of meals and beverages. The bungalow themselves are clean and comfortable, especially the ones away from the pool area. Food isn't bad but we think when you order, they do not cook there but rather pick it up from another location. Friendly staff, very helpful lady who might have been a manager. We didn't try the breakfast there, we were told by other travelers that the hot food was only luke warm. Pool was clean. Day trips we booked through the front desk were good.
