Nice resort to enjoy, good amenities, good facilities, good environment - really really helpful and support staffs - Mr Thanh (Front desk) be nice and support us a lot. Garden be quiet and green but there are a lot of mosquitoes. spa are also very good. Breakfast be really good. Nice room, nice swimming pool, the best resort in Dương Dong - Phú Quoc. I love this resort and will be back soon.
Mr. Anup and his front desk team were consistently friendly and made our stay so easy! The grounds are beyond beautiful- so lush and green everywhere you look! The pool and beach are very inviting, the food was delicious - especially the breakfast buffet. If all that wasn’t enough, the service was beyond compare - not only were the employees helpful and friendly, they genuinely seemed happy to be there! The resort is in the perfect spot for relaxation - away from the hustle and bustle, but a short ride to town if you want to see more. We had planned on only staying 3 days, but extended because we didn’t want to leave Salinda!
We had a wonderful stay at Salinda. It has great facilities with beach frontage and good location to the town, plus restaurants right outside if you feel like stepping out. This was our third time at Salinda and returning after the pandemic the resort is just getting back into the swing of things. We were pleased to see that the resort was still beautifully maintained with lush greenery, making you feel that you are truly in a tropical oasis. For the critical feedback: I thought the breakfast was okay but not as great as it used to be, the restaurants within the resort were open on consecutive days, though understandable given that they only opened a couple of months before. The only thing that I thought was a let in the experience was the fact that as a third time returning guest we couldn’t get a late checkout (request was for 2hrs). We were advised that the resort was at full capacity- again understandable but it felt like that our loyalty wasn’t taken into account. Overall a great family holiday destination.…
We had an absolutely amazing stay at Salinda. For me, it was Love at first sight. The staff were welcoming and incredibly helpful. The whole resort just feels so Peaceful & there's beauty in every corner. The highlights for me were the amazing breakfast buffé with some sparkling and the live piano added a nice touch to that experience. Best I had in Vietnam so far. Also Loved the Indian food and had a really nice dinner at the Italian restaurant as well. I'm so Happy and thankful that we were upgraded to a room with ocean view on the second floor. How Lovely! For the room itself, the bed was super comfy and the shower really really nice. I missed Salinda before even leaving and will certainly be back. Thank you all for this wonderful stay!
I have to write this review to encourage travelers to stay at Salinda Phu Quoc; we could relax, enjoy the beautiful resort and room, and the staff has been excellent, friendly, and helpful. They created a peaceful and enjoyable atmosphere and we could take real holidays after the past busy and challenging months. I am thankful for that and especially to M. Gia Ho Bao, M. Nguyen Dang Thanh, M. Jeevan Thomas, and M. Anup Nair. The Salinda staff is always helpful with high standards...Enjoy Salinda's sunset around the beautiful swimming pool, you won't be disappointed!
My partner and I spent 5 nights at Salinda. Overall the experience was really enjoyable and we look forward to going again. Pick-up from airport and check in was great and relatively easy. Anup, the manager who greeted us, was fantastic throughout our stay and him and his great staff ensured any initial hiccups were dealt with promptly. The grounds are beautiful, the private beach and pool very nice, and the staff make you feel at home. It never felt too crowded either. The food options in the three onsite restaurants (we tried the Indian and Italian food) are very good. The food and cocktail options at the pool restaurant/area could be improved in my opinion. The breakfast was fantastic in its variety and there too many options - in a good way! We stayed in a sea view room on the second floor. Everything was nice, except for closet space. We left one big suitcase on the balcony (sure they could have stored it somewhere if I asked however) and I lived out of mine. The closet space for a couple staying more than a few days really lacked. The bathroom shower was wonderful, as was the tub. Bed super comfy. Location is great if you don’t want to be in the wild. We rented bikes and drove to Starfish beach (strange) as well as Sao beach (lovely at the left end). We also were picked up for a great snorkelling trip. Overall this is a well priced, well managed, well staffed and well maintained property. Will certainly return. …
I booked and stayed in the resorts for 4 days & 3 nigghts. The room is clean, the salted swimming pool is so nice & clean, the Vietnamese foods & Italitan foods are great, and especially the services are exceptional. I really enjoyed the Salinda resorts.
The resort is spectacular- the gardens, the rooms, restaurants, bar, pool and beach are all amazing. Every staff member takes a calm and personal approach to providing us with the best attention. From the greetings at reception, the conversations in the lobby, the unobtrusive and personal room service and the amazing bar and pool staff. All take the care and attention above any expectations which makes our experiences at Salinda memorable and relaxing. We are so grateful for the staff here.
This is for sure a family friendly resort, it's just a shame that some families aren't friendly. This hotel caters to many families and This means noise! The pool area is too small to get away from the screams and cries of children and the rooms themselves aren't sanctuaries and fail to stop the cries and shouts. I feel the hotel would benefit from an area dedicated to children and families at busy times. Especially around the pool as it was not a relaxing experience. I think maybe the hotel should decide what matket it wishes to cater for: adults and small families, or families with a lot of children. Perhaps a consistent approach to maximum room occupancy would be beneficial. At one point, there were, it seemed, about twelve people over two rooms on our floor (this was easy to see because they left their room doors open). Yes, they might have paid for the number of people to stay in the room, but the experience and peace of other guests was inhibited. Breakfast service was excellent, but the food quality was not high - the sparkling wine was pleasant and a nice touch. The breakfast staff were well trained, helpful and preemptive of guests' needs. However, the hot food was cold and the variety limited. I am unsure how stir fried rice and fried vegetables can be so tasteless in country where it is done so well elsewhere. The cheeses on offer were cheaper cheeses and, again, there were only one or two varieties. I would also recommend keeping a keen eye on guests at the buffet breakfast or providing signs explaining basic hygiene. Those guests who were desperate for food and unwilling to wait for the person in front of them to finish did not use the servers provided, they used their own cutlery in shared dishes. An unacceptable practice at any establishment, let alone a 5*. I was horrified by this. As we don’t have children, we wouldn't stay here again readily. People with children might be able to shut the noise of certain children out. I have to say, there were a number of excellently behaved children, not all of them were running through the breakfast area, using the hallways as a playground and dominating the pool area.…
We stayed in one of the garden villa rooms, and the room had one of the largest beds we've slept on in Vietnam. The pillow menu was also a nice touch. The pool area was nice, but the reason why I can't give the Salinda a full five stars is that so much of the beach has been eroded. It's a shame because the service and attention to detail was great throughout our stay.
