Stayed at Mango Bay with my partner as it seemed to be a cute little Eco resort and we were both excited to stay here. We stayed in the 'beach front' villa and were quite disappointed with the resort altogether. The room was very basic and there was absolutely no view of the beach. Despite the name beach front villa,... More

We loved our stay here! Step off life's Merry go round & visit Mango Bay Resort. Go back to basics (no TV or radio) and reconnect, whether it's couples or families, this is the place where you can enjoy nature, the beach, water sports or just board games and the absolute beauty of this island. The staff are warm &... More

The resort is quite nice organized but not well prepared for wet season. There is no road for some of the bungalows so one gets quite wet and mud all over while walking to its bungalow. It is nice that they do not have any a/c but only ventilators. The food is a bit fusion, europeanized if I may call... More

Just got back from five days at Mango Bay and had a wonderful time. The resort is the perfect mix of being totally laid back and casual with great service and excellent food. The chef is really fantastic. It might be a bit rustic for some tastes, but I found it lovely. The grounds are well maintained and everything is... More

Mango Bay is very nice resort with relaxed atmosphere. The Bay View Villa is very spacious with a day room, sleeping room and outdoor bathroom. The welcome was warm and friendly. The restaurant is great, in particular the breakfast. We loved the beach and the body boarding.

Tourists to Vietnam will have encountered the buzz of the busy streets in the main city centers. At the end of your stay in this country - a success story after colonization & unnecessary wars - Mango Bay Resort is a piece of paradise. Unspoiled & right on the beach. The bungalows are made from local woods & there is... More

My girlfriend and I spent 4 days at Mango Bay Resort in Phu Quoc at the end of our trip in Vietnam. Our stay has been memorable: the place is wonderful, with two amazing beaches and comfortable bungalows with a view to the ocean or the jungle. The staff was very nice and welcoming, and were ready to accommodate our... More

Mango Bay Resort is on another level compare to any resort that you can find on the Island. They offer a much different experience than of the ordinary 4 squared hotel rooms. This place is a retreat for a worried soul and a perfect way too end after you have been days on the bustling city of hanoi and ho... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This is a low density resort, driven by a passion for the environment, intelligent use of materials, and strong support for island culture. Mango Bay is tucked away off the beaten track, with Vietnam's first rammed earth bungalows, enclosed by beach and protected forest. There are no air-cons, television sets or telephones in the rooms for a true fusion with nature at the island's first eco-friendly resort. All rooms and bungalows have open sea views and offer mosquito nets. ... more   less
