Had a wonderful stay here in October 2016. The staff was very kind and welcoming, the facilities are quaint and charming, and the food is extremely tasty and vibrant. Complimentary breakfast, free yoga classes on the beach and free drinks/tapas hour are all a great touch. Also, the guests that Bamboo draws are so kind and friendly - we met...

A perfect place to relax with the family and take it slowly after a week in Hectic Hanoi. The road getting there was very bumpy but all was forgotten once entering the serenity of Bamboo. The friendliness and service from the staff is genuine and caring - Vuong especially could not do enough for us - even delivering special honey...

Our stay in Bamboo Cottages was in one word brilliant. As close to paradise as you can get. The staff at both front desk and restaurant are extremely friendly and helpful and will, without hesitation go the extra mile for you. Many daily activities are complimentary such as a lesson in Vietnamese language, yoga and movie nights. The food is...

Of course, anytime you wish to come back, just send us an email and let us know. We'd be very happy to have you. Warm island regards, Charles and the Bamboo...

We stayed here for three days/two nights as part of a country tour. It's a great little out of the way spot that is very eco-friendly (one of the reasons we chose it) and has beautiful views and one of the best staffs (Vounz, Chef Long) I've ever encountered. We got the opportunity to stay in a Wood House one...

Chao chipperrin65, Very delighted to read your review and know that you had such wonderful time with us. Mr. Vuong and Chef both run a great restaurant and I'm glad you were able to notice that as well as all the other small details in your review. When you wish to come back, just send us an email directly. Warm...

I really liked this place, especially the concept its built on. A lot of places call themselves "eco," but too often it's a marketing ploy without real substance. Not this place. It's entirely solar powered and is working on capturing enough water to supply needs. Instead of supplying you with plastic bottles of water everyday, they filter water and refill...

Chao JMB-NLY, What a wonderful review to read. I just want to say that the mom & dad owners have a daughter, Felise, who is also completely responsible for the concept of Bamboo Cottages: "Our vision is to invest in and be in harmony with everything that we value: the traveler’s experience of Vietnam, our staff, the environment and the...

The atmosphere at this little resort is great and relaxing. The staff is very nice, some are learning English, and if you're up to it you they stop by for a talk to practice their English. We definately loved the free yoga classes that are offered every day, the 90 minute free of charge kayaking and snorkeling gear rental, the...

Chao Annerieke86, Thanks for the review. Yes, every year we have a few staff we hire without any previous experience or English skill and by the end of the season they are pro's. win/win for all of us. The 1st step to teaching English, is teaching the confidence to learn it in my opinion. If you really miss us, come...

We spent 3 days at bamboo and it's been so relaxing and beautiful. The staff are fantastic, the food is excellent and it's just a rustic oasis with such a chilled vibe, we absolutely loved it. If you are looking for mod cons, air con and luxury don't come here. It's eco nature is all part of its charm and...

Chao Sarahbradly, If you stay longer than 3 days we must put you to work in the garden. So it's great that you enjoyed your time before the laborious period began. (If you have no sense of humor, then know that I have a lame one, and there is sarcasm in that "garden" statement). Come back and see us anytime....

We stayed for four nights after a week or so of HCMC and the Mekong, and had the most fantastic and relaxing time. The whole place is great, from the eco-friendly ethos, to the staff, to the cleanliness. The bar and restaurant staff are great, and there is a real team feeling, and the house-keeping staff as well kept the...

Chao Neil T, Although we're very grateful, for the wonderful review, I just want to make more clear, that what you say is true. We've got a wonderful team here. There is no denying that. But there is construction next door, so let's not forget that fact. Geckos in the rooms, with no A.C. If all this is ok, Then...

We stayed for 5 nights for some much needed relaxation. Good food, friendly but not intrusive staff. Free kayaks and snorkeling equipment so you can enjoy the coral reef on a small island just a short distance away. Narrow but beautiful beach (plenty of shady spots and loungers)....if you want to get away from it all you won't go wrong....

Chao su3, It's almost like a free movie for us Bamboo Family members to watch: Traveler's arriving after several weeks of intensive travel - new experiences - challenges, just aching to relax and "unwind". After two weeks travelling around Vietnam, Bamboo Cottages was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, whatever the situation. Chao Sonya828, Sitting at this desk with the sound of waves the bartender breaking ice with a wooden pestle, the occasional chicken, wild bird, and some seemingly unidentifiable wildlife, boats next door, team chatter, all echoing harmoniously in the background.... I read your review, and smile. Thank you for your time, your support, and your constructive comments. Hope you'll return....
