Freedomland offers an home style hospitality, where you can relax amongst friends you have just met, swapping stories over dinner after a day of adventure exploring the island or a day of total relaxation on the nearby beach. As each day goes by, you will appreciate we are not a hotel. LOCATION: Located 15 minutes walk to Ong Lang beach, nestled in a jungle-like area in the North West of Phu Quoc island. 20Km from the airport (about 45 min. Drive); 10km from the main town (15 min. Drive) BUNGALOWS: We designed our bungalows in harmony with the surrounding environment. They are opened enough to allow air flow, furnished with fans (no A/C), wooden furniture locally made and mosquito nets. There is no tv plasma, no hot water (method Kneipp ;), no hairdryers, no minibar and no air conditioned in our bungalows. FOOD & DRINK: Exclusively for lucky freedomland guests, family and friends every night we cook a communal dinner when everyone has the opportunity to meet, enjoy the food and the ambiance. Peter's cuisine is a skilful blend of vietnamese and European cuisine. All the guests fell in love with the Peter's cooking, and he likes sharing his love for food.

Due to a flight delay we arrived much later than expected. Upon arrival we were informed that we were the first guests after a recent remodel. We thought this would mean we were in for a rough week. Instead, we were treated like royalty. The staff felt made us feel like family

During a 2 weeks-trip in Cambodia & Vietnam, we have booked a 4 days stay in Freedomland with the objective to find calm and rest. For the calm, we were on the target within a wild jungle and nice bungalows, decorated with fine design in a colonial touch. However, we have

We booked this place because we were hoping for an 'authentic' stay on Phu Quoc. And in theory, the huts are pretty and the planting that surrounds them - however, there are too many 'buts' which made the experience not so great. Overall, the management of this place is chaotic

Our family stayed in Freedomland in February 2018. It was definitely a great experience, and I would've gladly given this resort 5/5 stars if not for one hiccup that soured our stay at the resort. But let's start with the goods things! - I'm surprised that some reviews here are

We were here for 3 nights and 4 days. The services were definitely lacking. We arrived there at around 7pm and had to wait 10 minutes for the receptionist/bartender/waiter to take us to the room. He did not give us any instructions what so ever. They didn’t even offer to clean

Dear Duy, thank you for your contributory review about Freedomland, we also applogise for any inconvenience during the time you are in Freedomland. you stayed with us during holiday so we didn't have staff enough to supply a great service on the first step you arrive to Freedomland. the previous guest lost our key and there are only 2 key makers on Phu Quoc Island. as a result, it was difficult to call them to make a copy on holiday but we have informed to you and asked you to leave the key whenever you go out. unfortunately you didn't do this. we also ask our staff to do the room service when you come back but you said that your room was still clean and you didn't want room service.. anyway, this is an experience for us to avoid the similar problem in the future and hope you will have a good feeling on the next time you visit Freedomland warmest regards

Hello my esteemed friend. Really sorry for my late message from Freedomland. Both Freedomland and Mango Bay has their own features. Mango Bay locates right next to the Beach and of course in this case, Mango Bay is a big option for Beach lovers. On the other hand, Freedomland hide itself in a tropical jungle, that is far away from noise, impacts of heavy life. Where you may set you free in a place where you wont find it anywhere else in this Phu Quoc Island. As a Journalist of Word Magazine had written about us "An exceptional place which looks like no other one". If yes, please both find out two, it is couple steps away from Freedomland and Mango Bay. Both are interesting and have their own strong points. You may stay at both for couple days and the other for couple days. For any booking and further information please contact : Freedomland Phu Quoc Resort

There are some bars & restaurants within about 10-15 min walking distance but there's not a lot going on there, especially during the day. If you want to hang out in bars during the day you're better off going to Duong Dong or further south where the backpackers are.

Hi my esteemed guest, We are from Freedomland. and we would like to provide you those information, and it is totally suitable for a solo traveller. We are opened all year round !!! All structures have been constructed using mostly natural materials from the island, driven by our respect for the environment. They are opened enough to allow air flow, furnished with fans (no A/C), wooden furniture locally made and mosquito nets. We designed our bungalows in harmony with the surrounding environment to justify many choices. There is no tv plasma, no hairdryers, no minibar and no air conditioned in our bungalows. And many of the bathrooms are garden rooms, where the water is heated by our tropical sun. You might find that your cell phone works at Freedomland and that there is free wifi in the main house only, to encourage you to disconnect for a few days.
