It was very beautiful place on Wangnamkhieo. The place that you can education for wine course, very nice wine, and beautiful grape farms. The place that you can't missed if you come to travelling around Khao Yai and Wangnamkhieo
I booked a room via the hotel website and the rooms here are offered on a half board basis (including dinner with wine and breakfast). The price offered to other websites were more expensive so better booking via hotel's website. The receptionist and hotel people were very nice, helpful, and friendly. This hotel also runs a winery so we could also enjoy the evening wine tasting session, which was absolutely nice and better than I expected. I joined some other wine tasting sessions at other places in Thailand and abroad. A lady in charge of this wine tasting here is very well-rounded and knowledgeble about winery. We are very impressed! The foods are nice. They offered several selections of steaks and sets of Thai dishes for my selection. I chose lamb and australian sirloin steaks and they were delicious. Apart from wines, the grape juice here is also famous and good! I stayed for one night here. We chose to the village type room, the cheapest one. The room is small and a bit old. The air condition was a bit loudy and could be disturbing for those who have a problem sleeping. The other room types should be better in our opinion. We are happy with the overall experience here. We think the price for the half board room is reasonable. We would recommend this place. …
It was a refreshing and beautiful stay. We stayed for 2 nights at the Reef Rocks House (3 bedrooms with a large living hall and a garden). The house was clean, tidy and well decorated. The management was thoughtful as they provided 2 pairs of slippers for each guest, one for the house and the other for the garden. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were included in the package and their meals were excellent. They even gave us a complimentary tom yam soup after knowing that we were not locals and had wanted to try their soup. We preferred their western meals to their Thai meals though. Wine was served at dinner at no extra cost. This place is really away from the city and very near nature. A praying mantis landed on one of the waitress arm during dinner while a small frog jumped from nowhere to the side of one of the our coffee cups, sending the ladies screaming. You can also hear the lizards making noise while in the house. Despite the minor challenges, I enjoyed 2-night stay tremendously, especially the cool morning walks around the vineyard. The only disappointment is that the complimentary vineyard 'tour' on Saturday was an educational talk rather than a 'tour' at all. However, the facilitator was lively, funny, engaging and knowledgeable. Never a dull moment. I look forward to stay in this place again.…
We are the lecturers from Dusit Thani College, we agreed to visit some wine yard for our education trip after the college break. Later we found this place came up during meeting. A week later our plan started, just 2-3 hours drove from BKK is cool! We arrived and checked-in as normal. The group made a schedule at 16.00 hrs. for wine knowledge & tasting. It's so productive, its focus on general theoretical knowledge of the world wine and spirits. After that the wine facilitator who I've known as GM offer a winery tour. We touch a giant of fermentation tang, wine making, crushing until fermentation. This trip is very useful for students in beverage and hospitality industry including hotel staff who is serving food & beverage, recommended.
I visited three times Chateau des Brumes Village Farm & Winery and stayed twice at the hotel. It's a peaceful place. I enjoyed tasting the wine (one of my favourites in Thailand) and excellent grape juice, and having dinner in a very relaxing place.
This was my second time visit to this lovely resort. It was lucky that the weather during this time is very very nice ( period is 27-29 Dec ) it down to 13 degree C. I stay in the lovely room to , there are 2 level , first level is a living room , shower while second floor is bed room. The resort is surrounding by big tree and for sure plating more grape because they also a wine production. My package was including dinner , A must to select is Steak if you take beef , i am not then i select fish. The interesting places near by also more you can enjoy good small garden with coffee Recommend to go either in green season or winter You will love it
Been there for the second time with a group of Friends we stayed in a very nice room face to the vineyard. The room actually include a dinner and wine. All the staff are very nice and so happy to assit you with any request you might have. The place is located 3 hours from Bkk and it's the perfect place for a cozy week end with nice wine
We stopped by to sample some wines and take a relaxing walk, and found the property and buildings were peaceful and pretty. The staff was helpful and kind even though we spoke very limited thai. Our children enjoyed DELICIOUS chilled grape juice while we tried a glass of their wine. I would like to come back and stay here, as the accommodations looked unique, clean, and charming with a lovely view over a small valley!
This resort is so nice , beautiful room and clean. The grapefruit juice is good taste , should try it. The interesting activity in this resort is teaching us about wine . More information from their staffs. This resort is so peaceful because far from the road.
I read the reviews on tripadvisor before I went. I was a little concerned about the price and was gonna go elsewhere. But we looked around and this seemed to be the only place we could chill. We didn't want activities, activities, activities. We were just looking for a place we could sit down, enjoy a quiet weekend, be close to the nature, etc. I did ask to view all room types before and did go for the most expensive room. My first impression is that it is expensive too. But then the room comes with half board food. And yes the food is excellent! Free-flowing own wine, grape juice and grape jam! They also offer free wine-tasting and tour to their cellar. The view from our corner room is beatuiful: one side to the valley and beautiful swimming pool and the other to the winery! Do make the best of the morning. We took the morning stroll through the winery and it was an amazing experience! Unforgettable. The staff has been trained well. The service is excellent! Everyone was so friendly! Sure it is pricey but if experiences, services, quality and the price range in the areas are considered, its the best you can get! It's probably the only vineyard you can stay in Thailand too!…
