We stayed at the Kantary twice for one week each already. The high quality of the hotel as a whole we appreciated. The high level of attention and friendliness of all the staff made us feel welcome. It gives the impression that everyone enjoys working in this hotel. This also gives a positive light on the management.
By accident I arrived at the Hotel due that I was waiting for my car to be repaired at Cockpit, which is right next door. Ordered lunch which was a BLT Sandwich and a Mushroom soup. I received a triple sandwich with French fries and a delicious Mushroom soup. The service was superb and the table was set with everything you need to add to the sandwich. I received a real linnen napkin with utensils. What was remarkable from it all, was The Price which was outdone by the incredible service from a very friendly staff. I was impressed and recommend the Restaurant for its wonderful Menu and incredible service. I will for sure return, with an extensive Menu they posses everyone can find their dish.
We had two 1 bedroom suites here for two nights in February. The suites are a generous size and had full cooking facilities and a medium size refrigerator. Both suites overlooked the 6 lane road outside and the windows are only single glaze so there is a bit of traffic noise. I'm pretty sure the rear rooms and suites would be much quieter. The grill room on the 20th floor serves extremely high quality steaks and seafood. The first night I had a Tuna steak and the second night a Australian Tbone. The French chef Massimo(who I had talked to at Breakfast that morning) came out and asked how I wanted my Tbone Steak cooked so I requested a Chicago Char on the outside and well done inside. It was perfect. It really is a world class restaurant and the staff, decor and drinks were also excellent. Breakfast was included in our package and that was also really nice and indeed on the second morning they had filet steak with pepper sauce at the buffet, that's the first time I have ever seen that at any hotel anywhere in the world. I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel and the excellent food was a real bonus.…
The restaurant at the rooftop is excellent. I could tell that its the best rooftop in Korat. Nice view and excellent service. I will come back soon. I had the salmon steak and my husband has beef stake. The cake was awesome too.
This hotel is fantastic. The rooms are big enough and immaculate. The bathroom has an enclosed shower and lots of toiletries. The hotel has a huge exercise area, with a hot tub and a pool. There is even a sauna and a steam room. I tried the steam room and it felt good. We ate at the Orchard restaurant and had 4 Thai dishes and a pasta dish for our daughter. All were excellent. There is a Chinese restaurant and a Steak house we did not try. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels in Thailand and this one is one of the best. No more checking out different hotels in Koran, I’ve found mine
We choose to stay at the hotel for several times due to the room environment is feeling like home and the location is perfect for us(business trip). It is clean, comfortable and quiet for your rest. All the staffs including receptions counter and maids are nice and quick respond for our nice stay. We will absolutely come back for our next trip.
We have stayed in this hotel for about less than 2 years and it was our home. It was a pleasure staying in this serviced apartment/hotel and we would likr to express our gratitude to all the staff, starting from the front desk, to housekeeping and to the concierge staff, they have been very helpful. Our special thanks to the manager, Khun Watchiran (Paan), she has been an absolute sweetheart who never hesitated to assist and provide solution whenever we had any issues, we would give her a 5 star rating or above if possible. The housekeeping staff were very polite and helpful. Only barrier was the language, would be great if the staff coule brush up their english, other wise everything is great. Would love to be back here
This hotel is set more like an apartment style with all the hotel amenities. We had a room with living room and a separate bedroom. The room also has a kitchen with a stove, oven, a full size refrigerator, and microwave. The room was very spacious and comfortable. We usually stay at another hotel in Korat, but when we checked in to that hotel, we did not like the room as it smelled like mildew. This was at 9pm and we wanted to find another hotel...fast. So we called the Kantary and they had a room for us. So we traveled over just a mile or so. We ended up getting the Kantary room for $26 cheaper and what a deal as I said above in my first paragraph. We stayed at the Kantary for almost two weeks and got to know everyone there. All the employees from the waitresses to housekeepers were all smiles and very helpful with anything we needed. They had a great buffet breakfast that was included in our hotel price. The food was always excellent with fresh fruit and cook to order. They also have a bakery. We were told they hired their own bakery chef and his/her pride and expertise showed in the pastries and cakes. They also have a Chinese restaurant and a grill. We ate mostly at the main restaurant and the food was excellent. Their Filet Mignon was excellent and very reasonable priced around $12. The menu was expansive from Western to Thai choices. Everything I ate there during my stay I had not one complaint. The hotel also had a great gym, spa, and pool on the top floor. Also on the top floor the hotel had an "Executive Room" where you could go and have coffee and a pastry and read a book or read the local or international newspapers they provided, all in a quiet setting. The room was very well done and Executive Room was the appropriate name for it. I was very impressed overall with this hotel and wish more hotels in the United States would use this hotel as an example of what a hotel should be. We visit Korat quite often and we will always stay in this hotel from now on when we visit. There is no other hotel in this city, in my opinion, that can live up to the standards of the Kantary. Great kudos to the staff and management at the Kantary!…
We briefly stayed here during a quick business trip to Korat. Attentive staff. Clean rooms. The breakfast buffet had everything one needs for a quick bite to eat in the morning. Lacked a bit in the hot water department. Will most likely stay here again next visit.
Hotel chains such as the Kantary can be predictable - you know what you will get. Having used a few of these around Thailand however, this was particularly good. The hotel is fairly new and spotlessly clean. The rooms are a good size and well fitted out. The breakfast selection is quite excellent, with a good selection of Thai, Japanese and Western foods, and Dinner is similarly excellent with a good range of different cuisine. The Executive Lounge, a personal draw for all Kantary hotels, was clean, quiet, spacious and kept well stocked. The high point of this hotel however must be the staff. These were uniformly friendly, helpful and cheery - perhaps being the only farang couple staying there helped? It would be wrong to single out any member of staff, but the restaurant staff went out of their way to be helpful and made our stay a particularly pleasant one. I would not hesitate to recommend this Kantary.…
