Watch out: There are 2 Hotels with the name "Danau Toba International Cottage", one in Berastagi in the mountains, one in Parapat at Lake Toba. This is the one in Berastagi. The pictures showing a hotel at a lake are misplaced, they are from the one in Parapat! We stayed just one night in Danau Toba International Cottage in Berastagi.... More

Its fine here, the friendly staff helped out all time. Breakfast was fine. The rooms were only outdated and pool was not clear. A bit far situated from centre, only possible by car. Would recommend other places than this

A very outdated hotel. Build more than 20 years ago and never had any maintenance anymore. Unfriendly reception staff. The swimmingpool is covered with algues and on the parking lot a car wreckage has been left for more than 10 years and never touched since than. With a magnificent view on mount sinagung this hotel should make much much much... More

I came here with a tour company called G Adventures and I feel morally obligated to write a review. This hotel looks decent at surface level. There is moderate speed wifi in the lobby as long as not too many people are using it at once which is great for SE Asia. I however had a major ant infestation in... More

As stated in other reviews here, the hotel is not the hotel with the same name on Lake Toba, but apparently it does belong to the same group. We stayed only one night in this hotel and really, that was enough. The first impression when you drive up the driveway is positive: nice bungalows on either side of a path.... More

I just checked out from this hotel. I personally love the view of this place. So I have stayed in this hotel for the third time. The first and second visit was okay, but in the third occasion the service was really bad. The bell boy was really grumpy. The hot shower was only available in some specific time. No... More

This review is for the hotel at berastagi to avoid any confusion. We had booked this place under a different name DTIC however our guide also recommended this establishment due to it being a locally ran business rather than own ed by a Chinese multinational. Which apparently a lot of them are in this town so ok we'll give back... More
