We enjoyed staying in this lovely guesthouse for 2 nights. It has a very good value and we can recommend it to every backpacker coming to Berastagi. About the room: Our room was very spacious for the price, and on top of that looked really good and clean. The bed is quite comfortable. We had our own bathroom with cold...

Maybe some people had bad experience but this is Indonesia and you cannot expect luxury when you pay 100K rupiahs, $7.50! The staff was quite nice and helpful, the room very clean with 2 comfortable chairs and a table. Yes cold water in the bathroom but this is average in Sumatra and 70 cents $ for a hot shower is...

This is a fairly basic guesthouse located in the centre of Berstagi. We just turned up and booked into a ground floor double room. There are a few bad reviews particularly related to the quality of the fruit juices which we thought were pretty harsh (although we didnt actually have one!). Inevitably it's a cheap, no frills hostel, but we...

Wisma Sibayak is a simple, no frills guesthouse in Berastagi. The boss is a friendly older lady and she is helped by her daughter. We (2 of us) stayed for three nights in a room with a shared bathroom. We paid 100,000 IDR a night. You could pay more for a private bathroom and nicer room. The room was fairly...

I had a great stay at Wisma guest house! Comfortable and clean rooms for a good price. A lot of clear information at the reception. Nice atmosphere! Good food. Highly recommend! Charming rooms in different price categories. View over the volcano.

I stayed one month in Indonesia and this guesthouse is so far the worst that I tried. The service is done by careless people. I took an avocado juice, they bring me the juice done by immature avocado. The taste was discussing. When I said the waiter that my juice was not drinkable, he answered that it was not the...

My room was small, smelled bad and was not clean. On the first night I ordered vegetable curry and after that I got sick for the next 2 days. The same thing happened to my friend who ate the same dish. During my stay of 2 nights I noticed rats in and around the kitchen area. The staff are also...
