My wife and I chose Bali for our 21st wedding anniversary. After booking our flights, we asked friends for accommodation recommendations and were advised to stay in Seminyak or Canggu. We had a list of must-haves and nice-to-haves, and The Light Exclusive Villas and Spas met all our criteria.
Having our own pool was a highlight, perfect for morning swims and cooling off after a day of sightseeing or shopping.
While there were minor cosmetic issues, like dated plaster around the bathroom doors and wall sculptures by the pool needing a clean, these were insignificant compared to the villa's many positives.
The location was excellent, with plenty of Circle K stores nearby for essentials, and within walking distance to Seminyak Village, the beach, and various dining options if we didn't want to eat at the villa.
The daily breakfast offered a great selection of hot and cold foods, fruits, cereals, juices, and tea/coffee. The friendly staff, who took our egg orders and served them with a smile, made mornings delightful.
Check-in and check-out were seamless, and the welcome drink on arrival was a nice touch.
The staff were exceptional. Although we didn't meet everyone, Wayun, Logesh, Mia, and Dia stood out for their incredible service, from morning greetings to assisting us throughout our stay.
Some tips:
- Ask the staff for day trip recommendations. Mia and Dia were particularly knowledgeable and friendly, and they helped us organize a driver on short notice. If you get Daniel as your driver, you're in for a treat.
- Indulge in the romantic dinner and floating breakfast – you won't be disappointed.
- The villa's spa options are reasonably priced and very relaxing.
If you're looking for a great place to stay in Bali, The Light Exclusive Villas and Spa is an excellent choice. They offer various package options, especially when booked directly.

Our stay at The Light Exclusive was incredibly enjoyable and relaxing.
The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was lovely. We stayed in a one bedroom villa which was aesthetically gorgeous as well as user friendly.
We were a little apprehensive on how we would sleep with the heat and humidity in Bali, but the AC in the room was very cool and made our stay very comfortable.
The buffet breakfast each morning was very tasty and the perfect opportunity to discuss our plans for the day with the local staff members.
We booked our moped through the villa and this was ideal for exploring the local area.
Overall I would highly recommend staying at The Light Exclusive, with so many villa's to choose from in Bali we were lucky enough to find this gem.

Love, love, love this property that we booked! No regrets at all. The staffs are always so gracious and accommodating. Had the floating breakfast for 1 day and the food was delightful! We also took up the couple spa package and it was definitely a good deal. Felt so relaxed and refreshed after that.
The villa was great- plenty of space all around. King sized bed was a bit on the soft side though. Bathroom is huge with 2 sinks, closet, dressing table, hairdryer, bathtub, separate standing shower and toilet. There's an outdoor kitchenette with a microwave, kettle, and a fridge. The outdoor living area is also a great place to wind down and relax after a swim or after a long day of going out and about. However, there are mosquitoes so we just bought mosquito coils and that certainly helped a lot. Slept outside by the poolside, under the stars for 1 night just for the fun of it and had one of the best sleep ever.
The location is probably the best as it's very accessible and doesn't take you long to go to wherever you want to be. Definitely will return to this property when we come back to Bali!

The Villa we stayed in was nice and spacious, The staff cleaned our Villa every day and made a good effort at being respectful of our privacy.
These Villas are in need of a do over as they are starting to show their age.
New towels, better crockery and glasses and maybe bigger bottles of water on a daily basis would also help.
Location is reasonable. It is only a short walk to Seminyak with a great Italian Restaurant next door if you want to eat local.
Morning Breakfast was always well cooked and the service was fast. Always served with a happy smile from the staff and the manager.
All up, A value for money place to stay (Great if you have a scooter) We cannot speak highly enough of all of the staff. We also recommend the onsite Spa.

Very welcoming friendly staff and team. Everyone were so friendly, smiling and helpful. Villa itself it clean & spacious, only not use to the soft pillow & bed with squeaky noise . toiletries are provided and replaced daily. everyday they check in to clean up and change e pool water
Breakfast is average for us as we not fussy eater. but no worries as the location is great, just a 10 mins walk out to the busy street of seminyak you get more variety.

As a fussy person I was actually very satisfied and happy with this accommodation.
Place was very clean and neat. The staff are extremely helpful and provide excellent customer service. Buffet breakfast was safe to eat, very healthy and yummy food. My husband and I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend others to stay here as well.

We were picked up from the airport, staff were friendly and welcoming from the start until end.
Our villa was stunning, very private with a pool. The aircon worked great. The breakfast Buffet was very good, staff new our names from day one, which made you feel part of the family.
Room service was always excellent.
The walk to Seminyak centre is about 10-15 mins.
Very close to all amenities and Restaurants,
We will definitely be coming back next year with more friends.
Highly recommend, Fantastic holiday.

My friend and I stayed at The light exclusive for 6 days. This was out first time in Bali and the accommodation and staff were amazing!
The staff were always there to assist and helped us with Tour's and any questions we had, they were always happy to see you and always said hello, good morning and asked how our day out in Bali was and what we got up to.
We orded room service every day and the food and cocktails were always fantastic. Delivery to our room was always very quick.
The room was very clean and spacious, and the pool and seating areas outside the room was very relaxing.
We visited the on site spa muiltable times and the ladies were so lovely, and the massages were very relaxing and perfect.
Can not recommend this accommodation enough! Everything was very easy!

A wonderful stay at The Light Exclusive Villas and Spa. Having a private villa and pool was fantastic. An easy walk to shops and restaurants. Would definitely return.
The staff were amazing and very attentive. Nothing was too much trouble, a surprise birthday visit to the villa with cake to providing insect spray.
On days when you didn't want to go too far, a visit to the spa centre on site for a full body massage, a swim in your own pool and room service for dinner.

The amazing staff at Light Exclusive villas made our holiday such a treat. Always so friendly and keen to help as well as knowledgeable about the local area.The romantic dinner on offer is such a great experience we could not recommend highly enough. The large private pool & outside area allows for heaps of chill out space. The huge bed was very comfortable. Well worth considering for your travel plans.

Only a 5 min walk from ‘Eat Street’ and probably 10 from Seminyak Sq
Parts of the pools do get sunlight all day but due to close buildings and high fences you do get some shades which is great
