We stayed in their one-bedroom villa from Feb 1 - 3, 2024 and really enjoyed our visit. One of the Club Managers, Hans, was there to greet us on arrival. Our butler, Jodi, was thorough, compassionate and attentive. All our needs were anticipated and attended to. The villa was spacious, private and comfortable. There was a private pool with an outdoor gazebo with a bar and coffee/tea-making facilities. There was also an outdoor bathtub! Everything was set up according to our needs. The Club was situated across from the main hotel, but we could dine in the club lounge or the restaurants in the main hotel. Daily buffet breakfast was set up on the restaurant side, but almost everything served there could be ordered in the club lounge. The club lounge was quieter and less windy, but the restaurant side was more exciting and scenic. The food served in either place was very good. We met with the Head Butler, Bon, who was accommodating and warm. He showed us the two-bedroom villa, which was very spacious and nice. If we ever return to Bali, we will bring our family and stay in this hotel for a week. We loved this hotel; everyone was kind and accommodating. We even tried the couple massage. The price was cheaper compared to North American standards. Everyone who is staying in this hotel should try this. The ambience in the Spa was cozy, and the room was peaceful and tranquil. We really enjoyed the experience. We wish we had booked for a longer stay, but had a cruise to take and couldn't change our plan.

The hotel exceeded all of our expectations, my husband is partly disabled and he was confident walking to each venue, pool, cocktail bar and restaurant, the staff soon realised he may need help and was always on the lookout for him, I could go shopping with confidence leaving him at the hotel. The staff are all courteous and beautifully trained. The hotel itself cannot be faulted we stayed in the two bedroom apartment which was stunning. The manager Hans, went out of his way to greet us each day and also was waiting to say goodbye to us on our departure. We will definitely return.

We have been visiting The Legian for the 5th time. Service, rooms, location and above all the friendly helpful staff is top notch. The rooms are cleaned 3 times per day, the ocean view is pristine and the sunset is for free ;-) daily at 7 PM. Probably the best resort in Bali.

Fabulous five star hotel, could not fault it, beautiful amenities, staff were very friendly and attended to all our needs, the room was very comfortable. Loved the restaurant food. Spectacular view from the pool to the beach with direct beach access, great for watching sunsets and drinking a cocktail. Pool service was also excellent, loved how the pool staff always made your pool bed and provided fresh water and face washers. Even the hotel manager personalised the trip by meeting all guests, made it a very personal experience. the hotel is also located in a great position very close to Seminyak square and all shops, boutiques, markets, restaurants and cafes. Would highly recommend this hotel if you want 5 star service and be pampered.

Having wanted to stay at The Legian for a number of years, it was fantastic to finally experience what we had heard about from friends who had stayed. The Legian truly is the gift that keeps on giving. Beautiful classically elegant interiors. Luxurious rooms with beds like no other. Immaculate grounds with stunning landscaping. The food was world class, and the customer service was better than I have experienced anywhere. By far the best hotel I have ever stayed in, and to a standard that deserves more than five stars.

The staff were all very pleasant , location was fantastic. Easy walk to great restaurants. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone. Breakfast menu could have been changed. I kept expecting that but was disappointed every morning. Only gripe was mattress was too hard.

Huge thanks for the warm welcome and exceptional service during our recent stay at The Legian. The concierge team, including Dewi, Tya, Cynthia, and Eka, ensured our needs were met with utmost care. A special shoutout to Kadek and the breakfast team, as well as the diligent pool staff – every member played a pivotal role in making our stay memorable, as always. Hans and Eddy, the epitome of hospitality, consistently went above and beyond to ensure our stay was flawless. Your daily check-ins reflected a genuine commitment to our comfort, leaving us feeling truly cared for. No length of stay seems sufficient, and the thought of departure is always bittersweet. The Legian has become our home away from home, and the entire team feels like family. We eagerly anticipate our return, hopefully in the near future. Thank you, Legian, for consistently creating moments we never want to end.

The Legian is justifiably a timeless pinnacle of Bali’s luxury resorts. Sure it is not new and arguably a little dated however it is a classic and remains for those in the know a first choice with its unparalleled location and first class accommodation. Service is bespoke but not stuffy and anticipatory without being in your face- within hours of check in you will be addressed enthusiastically by name. Management leads on the front foot including with the GM frequently addressing guests.

In many hotels we've visited, only a few have felt hard when leaving. The Legian Hotel is one of them. It's hard to leave and return to the hometown. Yes, we will miss the comfortable place where we could sleep accompanied by the sound of waves all night long. Also thank you to the friendly staffs and the delicious food.

This is a beautiful beachfront hotel. We stayed in a one-bedroom suite and it was perfect- spacious with a large balcony and a small kitchen with an espresso machine and fridge minibar that was replenished daily. Breakfast was very enjoyable with many local and western options and excellent coffee. The pool area is immaculate and service from the staff was very attentive - fresh towels and water were frequently replenished. Afternoon tea beside the pool was also very good! This is an excellent option for your stay in Seminyak
