The complex has so much potential but desperately needs renovations, new curtains, new bedding - including mattress and pillow protectors, new towels and new paint etc. Located in a great spot close to everything but also quiet these villas could truly be great with some work. The bathroom was very run down and needs to be upgraded, even a very good scrub would help. We found the cleaning let the villas down, a big spring clean would make a difference, plus basic upkeep needs more work. Also the bathrooms are joined together so you can hear the people pooing next door and the smell from the bathroom was just awful. The pools in the villas could also do with a good clean and more work on the gardens in the villas would be nice and make them look better. Sorry but only 1 star from us *

Ok. What a little gem. On arrival you are sat down and given a juice. Booked in and taken to your villa. All easy. The villa was itself wonderful. The out door pool. The out door lounge area. And the bedroom all enclosed with air conditioning that worked perfectly. The bathroom area was clean and functional. Hot water and all that you needed. This was the only area that was in a little need of an upgrade. But it worked for me. Breakfast was served in your room in the morning. Eggs fruit and coffee. Wonderful. The staff were so friendly. Being a solo traveller it was wonderful that everyone chats away with you. I really can’t fault this little gem. For value for money. I don’t think I have ever stayed in somewhere so cost effective. The location is also absolutely perfect. 5 min from the beach adn double six area but tucked away in a little side street. Did I mention that this is a little gem hidden away. Lol ! Enjoy. I will be back x

A faulty towers experience for us at New Pondok Villas, but lets start with the positives. The staff were fantastic, the pool area idyllic and the location was great . I don't want to to be too critical because covid had desemated Bali for the two years and it is now only just getting to it's knees. New Pondok would and I think will be great once they put some money into it again to fix the cosmetic scars and small things that to be honest some people notice. We had a broken door first day, second day the hot water service broke, the third day the shower head was sending water in all directions and so on lol. There is a lot of peeling paint and old furniture. All this is ok if your not the fusey type. Breakfast was either noodles or rice which was quite nice. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa with a private pool.

I booked the two bedroom villa for four days and had to leave after two nights walking away as there is a no refund policy. The photos shown are many years old the villas are very run down and the breakfast is terrible only nasi goreng or noodles. Only two of the villas are open as the rest are abandoned with weeds and rubbish. Needs full renovation I paid $100 a night and it was way too much.

Although the staff were very lovely and the villas were a short walk to double 6 street, these villas are 2.5 star at best. Definitely NOT the advertised 4 star. We paid aprox $300 AUD per night for a 2br villa for 5 nights and definately not worth it. Linen was grey, thin, stained and torn. The towels were more like rags. All torn and grey. Beds uncomfortable. The fridge seal was mouldy and brittle therefore didn’t work at all. Breakfast was included but satisfactory at best. They need to sort out their menu (eg french toast was a cheese toastie??) These villas need a ton of work. Would absolutely not recommend at all. Plenty of others to choose from.

I stayed at this place for one night as my hotel round corner could not accomodate me the full stay. Its pretty run down couldn't check in un til 2 the aircon only works when your in the room no a business card didn't do the normal trick took forever for the little unit to cool the room down esp returning to my room after dinner. Toilet would not flush. water pressure in shower was useless the decking under the lounge chairs was rotten actually a hazard if you weren't careful The sheets were grey. Pointed out to reception on checkout toilet failing not even an apology Disappointing this place could actually be good with some care and attention

This is a nice find for an affordable, well maintained and run villa in a good location. Very friendly and efficient service. I’ve stayed in many villas in Bali at all price points. This one hits above its grade. Lovely lush gardens, tasteful decor, well maintained and an oasis in busy Seminyak. The garden/pool space around the villa is a bit tight but it’s fully enclosed in greenery making it feel like in a private garden. Well done. I’d come back.

Booked this for four days in August 2019. Hotel sent a car to pick us up from the airport and despite not arriving until midnight there was someone there to check us in and show us to our room, The room itself was fantastic - big bathroom with large tub and rainfall shower, very comfortable bedroom and lovely outdoor sitting room and private pool. Location wise the hotel was just far enough off the main road to not be disturbed by any noise at night but then a 2 minute walk to the main street and a 5 minute walk to the beach. Hotel also had a separate public pool for guests. Overall could not have been happier and would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a comfortable place to stay in Seminyak with good proximity to the beach.

This place was amazing! It is a little away from the Main Street but all the better for a quiet stay! It is only a 2 minute walk to the main road where the convenience stores and markets are located. The villas are beautiful with friendly staff and beautiful utilities. Would definitely recommend and stay here again and again
