We visited for 5 nights on our honeymoon and we enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and the service was very attentive. The breakfast was very good and I would reccomend drinks/lunch at woo bar. On arrival we stayed in an upper floor garden room, however there was an persistent smell in the room and after one night we asked to be moved- which was a bit of hassle to arrange with the front desk. The rooms, decor and towels in the hotel are in need of some rejuvenation. Overall and enjoyable stay but felt it locked the wow factor.
Myself and a friend went to W hotel for their high tea and I can say that the food, atmosphere, resort and service were amazing and worth every dollar....their passionfruit mojito was the best we have had on the island...and Kadek bro gave us the best service...we would recommend going there for high tea or just a drink....lots of places to eat and enjoy a chilled out day....
Stayed at W Seminyak Bali for 5 nights, bakc in mid Jul 2022. Our one bedroom villa #028 is stunning (just like from website photos). The villa close to lobby but yet very private. The one bedroom Villa was very big and spacious, bathroom spotless clean, bed was comfy, love the private pool right outside bedroom, pool crystal clean perfect for morning dip 😝 the decor of the villa, timber sundeck/garden are👌👌. staff and in room service very attentive and friendly, front desk team was professional and friendly, i reckon villa #028 is one of the best villa due to where it situated. We really enjoyed our 5 nights stay and highly recommend it.
Overall, a pleasant experience and the property had lovely facilities. The concierge team leader was a delight. The food and beverage members were lovely. Service met the standards of a five-star property. However, there was no wow factor in terms of service delivery. I was surprised when I found out that there was no option to take a water bottle for the ride to the airport. The employee checking me out provided me with a glass bottle and asked me to consume the entire bottle prior to leaving the hotel. Such response surprised me as the least one can do is provide a guest experiencing the Bali heat is a water bottle for the way out. I appreciate sustainable practices and understand their importance however, such efforts should not hinder the guest experience. It is recommended this service standard is reviewed.…
very nice Hotel and only looks clean. when it comes to infection control, it is very scary especially at the WOO Bar... they have no idea about infection control and don't seem to care about about disease transmission. tables are never disinfected, and always wiped with the napkins they give you to use after you finish from them. service is good but I wouldn't dare to eat there again.
Brilliant 9 night stay at the W in late July 2022. Service from all the staff was amazing and food was on point. Had dinner at at Fire / Starfish restaurant more than once :) Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again either for business or with the family.
This is the best W I have stayed at in terms of design and irreverent bits of fun …. Everywhere…. From the bathroom figurines, flying pigs, succulent plants in pouting baby heads to dinosaur egg cushion nest smack bang in the middle of the reception. The approach to the hotel is very zen with monochrome bamboo forest arched tunnel stretching 300 m belying the riot of hues at the hotel building itself. The pool area and Woobar is like a candy store with pops of saturated hues and super comfy marshmallow lounge sets. Bar food is excellent and the music is loungy, beachy and not too loud. Acoustics outdoor is excellent. The 24 h AWAY spa is the BEST. Cannot sleep or jet lagged or just feeling like a 1 am manicure or Balinese massage ! Do it ! This way you can spend the whole day exploring Bali with your driver and not take up precious daytime staying indoors getting treatments. I was travelling with my two teenage children. The beds are super comfy and the staff set up a third “bed” with the sofa and ottomans. It felt like a lux slumber party ! The shower area is expansive and the remote controlled skylight was cool. I guess only available in the top floor. Staff in all areas were wonderful. Highly highly recommend this hotel.…
Decided to splurge after staying in an inexpensive 4 star in Seminyak. W was nice but crazy crazy expensive. Given the cost of land and cost of staff in Bali I was shocked to find my Aud 600 per night in low season coming out of Covid was small , ordinary, no views etc. just another big hotel. Due respect to the staff who are sweet and badly affected by the pandemic it needs to be said .. it’s just another hotel. The Sunday ‘amazing ‘ brunch which seems to be the be all and end all is another story .. read my review on that one! My friend stayed in the AUD 900 per night .she had a little plunge pool. No view. A bit more space. Cocktail prices by the pool were seriously ridiculous!
amazing hotel. lavish. hip. fun. I’m from Miami i used to think the W Miami was the best but this hotel is the number one. The bathrooms are amazing. The ocean is right there . Staff is great! Highly recommend staying here i did two weeks on my recent visit
We've stayed at many W hotels over the years and the W Bali Seminyak is by far the best W property we've experienced. We were lucky to stay in a one-bedroom pool villa which was our private paradise. When you enter the door, you step into a beautiful outdoor oasis with a private pool, lounging pagoda, dining space, etc. before opening the sliding door to that large bedroom with a comfortable living room and a massive bathroom with a stone soaking tub. We only wish that there were more USB outlets throughout the room as there weren't many electrical outlets either to keep our devices charged. The overall resort is massive. It's a long walk from the street to the villa area and then an equal distance to the lobby and main hotel area. Thankfully, they had the best buggy drivers we've ever met available at a moment's notice. A few buggy drivers that should be recognized are Dewa, Fernando and Rangga. They were always ready with a smile and a good conversation and even a hug or a lively handshake. As Bonvoy Titanium Elite members, we took advantage of the daily breakfast buffet at Starfish Bloo every morning. While it is an enormous buffet that can rival some in Vegas, they offer a lot of made to order dishes representing cuisines from around the world. Nura and Rico were our favorite servers at Starfish Bloo and made us feel at home and very well cared for. The grounds are stunning and we enjoyed Woobar a few times but found that it was extremely quiet after 10pm. But the staff member who really blew us away was Anya, the guest services manager. We met her when we checked-in and she arranged a few dining reservations and an excursion for us (which is technically the concierge's duty but Anya insisted on taking care of it for us), and visited us every day at breakfast to chat and touch base with us. She seemed to be everywhere and managed an exceptional team. We only wish that we lived closer than 18 hours away to enjoy this property regularly.…
