We were welcomed to the Villa being picked up by Gede who is a lovely man. Recommend him for day trips if needed. Staff were helpful and lovely. They have security at night too. Also used the hotel to book TIc which is the express service at the airport for $60AUD each. We were a bit shocked about the location when arrived. Nothing around us, although there is a convenient store about 50m up the road. Rooms are lovely and clean, although the bedrooms are separated, so have to walk outside to get to other room. Not suitable when you have young kids. Otherwise everything including kitchen, lounge and bathrooms are all outside. Mossies were fine with coils which are out out regularly. Breakfast was lovely too, although we choose to eat out twice. Sisterfields is amazing in Seminyak. Make sure to download Gojek. Saved us as too too hot in Dec to walk .7km to Seminyak down dark narrow streets etc. We booked with Luxury Escapes. Never again as we saw our Villa advertised $1200 cheaper and couldn’t cancel.…

After 4 years I had the pleasure of staying 14 nights at my home away from home Bali Villa Asri.. was so good to be back! I’ve stayed here for many years and to see all the staff.. who are also my friends was amazing! A big thank you to Iluh ( I so enjoyed our cooking together), Ketut, Boy and all the staff for making me feel so loved & looked after. I stayed in Villa 7 and enjoyed some much needed relaxation. I will be back soon! Amanda xxx

This place is incredible. The staff are all amazing, the Villas are well maintained and the pool is huge. It's down a quiet gang, still close to main areas that you can easily walk to. Massages just around the corner, a great Warung with friendly staff and the food is authentic and really tasty. The beach is a 2 minute walk. The staff organised a birthday cake for me which was a beautiful gesture and very much appreciated. Highly recommend.

We travelled as a family of 2 adults and a 9 year old in July 2022. We have mixed feelings about this place. Lets start with the good. The staff are absolutely incredible and work really hard to keep this place clean and tidy. They always greet you with huge smile. Response time during the day is super fast. They come and make your breakfast in the villa too which is perfect. The private pool is incredible. Our son really enjoyed it. You have plenty of clean water to drink in your villa. Bonus. Comfy lounge area and great kitchen to make lunchtime sandwiches. Looks stunning too. Now to the downs. There are no staff after 7pm. So if your air con breaks down or you need drinking water like what happened to us, then you have to wait till the following morning. This sucks when travelling with a child and had I known this I would have booked elsewhere. It's also very noisy in the evenings. So if you're a light sleeper you'll struggle. You don't realise how close to the road this place is. We heard scooters all night, and fireworks every night (I'm assuming from neighbour hotels). We got bitten to death by mosquitoes even though it's not rainy season. I think because there's still water at the back as a water feature with fish in it. The fish are gorgeous. It's beautiful but still water is a no no as the toilet and washing areas are at the back as open-air facilities too. The staff go to great lengths twice a day putting down mosquito coils and spraying the area. It didn't help that our mosquito nets had holes in them too.... which they did replace immediately after we complained. We ran out of clean drinking water at 8pm one evening, called the front desk but only a security man was on duty and said we need to call in the morning. Our air con wasn't working either. So a warm room and no water. Not ideal with a 9 year old. We spoke management about all the issues. They got things fixed, but it was a rather uncomfortable stay for us. We were given complimentary massages for the inconvenience which was lovely of them. Now, the next bit we didn't know till we arrive and it's not the hotel's fault but good for parents to know. The road out of the villa is not well lit, poorly maintained, lots of trip hazards and still water. Very narrow roads with cars and scooters trying to get through. Not safe with buggies or kids. You need eyes at the back of your head ! Otherwise great location. Close to the main square for food, shopping and massages. Tip for you. Get the Blubird taxi app on your phone so you don’t get ripped off and can book cabs conveniently. Do not pay more that 300k rp for a single trip locally. That's the minimum charge if you go 2min down the road or further to Bintang supermarket. Hope this review helps.…

Shhhh! here’s a secret. The spa here is unassuming yet very well established. I have been coming here since 2009. Masseurs Meta and Man work absolute magic with their skills. I have held off for this long because I claim them as mine. Now wiling to share….You’re welcome.

Our first visit since 2019 and it was great to be back. Wonderful to see the cheerful and efficient staff, the service here is second to none. The villas here are huge, our one bedroom Royal villa (8) covers over 400 sqm with a fully enclosed air conditioned bathroom and outdoor shower. The pool is a good size and a large lawn and gardens giving a feeling of space. Daily breakfast choice of usual eggs pancakes etc or Indonesian. We have already booked for next February 😊

We had the pleasure to stay at two villas on the grounds , the Royal villa, and the one bedroom villa, both are excellent. The decor the gardens are excellent. But the staff are brilliant, no request was ignored. They made dinner reservations , hair dressers appointments, travel arrangements. Everything was taken care of. The villas are large and very comfortable, the pools are big too. The staff are all very friendly and polite. The location is excellent walking distance to everything from restaurants , shopping, and day spas. The beach is a five minute walk. Breakfast was fantastic ask for what you want and it will be done. Pancakes are excellent too. i felt very safe and secure here.. Highly recommend , five stars. Thank you again for a wonderful holiday.

The service and people were phenomenal!!! Typical Balinese villa with very nice and large private pool in the Seminyak area. Be prepared for a few hungry mosquitoes though. The spa services were so cheap, take advantage of them during your stay and maybe every day. Front desk and security were excellent. Only negative, is the very narrow and busy street. If you rent a car, expect a few challenging moment in driving!.

I am a regular visitor to Bali and have stayed at Villa Bali Asri for the past few years. I have just returned from another blissful stay at these amazing villas and I can honestly say that there is nowhere else I would rather stay when in Bali. The villas are breathtaking, relaxing and serene, the staff are fabulous and very caring - loved seeing them every day..felt like family. A huge thank you to all the staff who helped to organise a special ceremony for my late father and to John-Pierre for his lovely hospitality. I will see you all again soon!
