We have visited this hotel few years back. From what I discovered, this was once a 6 star hotel before Dubai hotels were built. It is indeed luxurious. From the main lobby to the guest rooms. The elevated lobby lounge is very huge with a high ceiling. The glass windows give you a view of the ocean. The breakfast is...

One cannot but be impressed by the grandeur of the ornamented reception lobby with its Italian marble columns extending through 5 storeys facing the seafront. The customer service at the reception is equally impressive and of international 5-star service standard and efficiency, with the receptionist courteously showing guests to their rooms for a detailed introduction on its facilities. Our standard...

This hotel is said to be a "LUXURY" hotel, however the experience was far from that. We tried to request for a late check out since our flight was at 11pm and the front desk couldn't even compromise or give us any allowances without charges. Upon check in, we requested for any room within the 4th to 6th floor which...

Upon our late arrival we were shown to a room with twin beds although we had explicitly asked for a king bed. We had also asked for a room on a higher floor - and were given a room on the ground floor on the grounds that the higher floors were supposedly closed for maintenance, which turned out to be...

This is undeniably one of the best hotels i have ever been to, simply "the best". fit for royalty and we saw some royals there on new years day 2017. The facilities are first class, certainly on a par with all the luxury we have experienced in Dubai & Abu-Dhabi, the very opulent building is totally exquisite and mind blowing,...

This place is amazing - Brunei is incredibly beautiful, balmy seas and pristine beaches, and the Empire was equally pristine...immaculate and incredible...the 3-4 different pools were gorgeous, the staff incredibly helpful and friendly...the food impeccable (and lots of variety)...and the main atrium with colossal marble pillars and vast windows overlooking the glorious South China sea jaw-dropping...10 stars, and then some...I...

This was everything on par or exceeding the best we’ve experienced in other major cities. Just walking into the hotel and seeing the multi-story windows and pillars was an amazing sight. And it says a lot when the hotel is a tourist attraction in itself, really pushes the limit on rich-and-absurd. It was starting to show its age a bit,...

WOW! WOW! WOW! Stayed here for 4 nights and was blown away! Service and friendliness was top-notch. The electric fuse blew in our room at around 5:30 am-- No problem! I rang up reception and they sent a fellow in to sort it out within 3 minutes. Now that's service! Attentive and professional staff from bell boys, to the gentlemen...

What an amazing place to stay while here for a wedding. The concierge, bellman and in general all staff are so friendly! The beds are extremely comfortable. Kids enjoyed the huge pools and SUP, canoe rentals. We would have biked too if we had more time. The drinks by the pool were perfect for all of us- fresh coconuts and...
