We had an incredible stay at 5 mountains lodge. Everything was beyond perfection. The gardens and the setting are beautiful, the rooms are amazing and spacious. The service was incredible. The spa is such a nice touch especially the outdoor jacuzzi. Arguably the best romantic getaway within an hour of Cape Town.

An amazing place to stay if you want a relaxed friendly atmosphere. Luxurious without being slick, great attention to detail. Staff were extremely efficient and nothing was too much trouble. Treatments were excellent, best massage ever! Nice to be slightly off the tourist track and in genuine South African country side.

Five Mountains Lodge, in the foothills of the eponymous mountains, is a small paradise. Five cottages, each unique, a beautiful pool, wonderful hosts, the best massages in the Cape, fruit trees, stunning walks (if you can drag yourself away), only the sound of cicadas and guinea fowl interrupt the silence.
