We had a wonderful stay in the giraffe room (absolutely loved how all the rooms were decorated according to theme). The house has a homey atmosphere, attention to detail, delicious breakfast, stunning views, caters to all of your needs and the hospitality was top-notch. Situated in Swellendam which is a beautiful town that most people drive through, but it's definitely...

We had one of our nicest South-African experience in Impangele. The hosts Dave & Amanda were super-nice and the rooms adorable. Our son fell in love with the Leopard room. We even had to find a similar Leopard toy after our stay for him. The hosts even made the effort to send us a photo of the toy and directions...

We stayed 3 days in a good large room with a nice bathroom. In front a nice terrace and in the back a wonderfull deck where a lot of birds where flying around. Dave and Amanda are very pleasant and very hospitable. Furthermore the breakfast was the best we had for almost 4 weeks.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Impagnale. It has a realy nice and homely atmosphere with nice places to sit outside. Especially the garden terrace. What a lovely spot to start a beautiful morning with a nice (English) breakfast and enjoying the beautiful birds. The room is very nice (it has everything), we loved the little funny personal touches...

The moment we arrived Dave & Amanda took care of us. Their "wild" theme rooms being explained and the unique bar service. I hope only that we didn't drink too much of their lovely wine on their nice outside terrace. A booking for the restaurant was made and in the morning Dave cooked up a storm for a real British...

My wife and I make a point of staying at Impangele when we are in the Western Cape. We have stayed there a few times now and we are never disappointed. The standard of the accommodation is very high, with their themed rooms. Our favourite is the Leopard room - the attention to detail is fantastic. Dave and Amanda always...

We have really enjoyed the B & B. The owners are very nice and you feel right at home. Had diner in town and really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful bird watching on their deck while sipping a very good glass of wine (complimentary).

This is my first review since my TA account mysteriously vanished but I HAD to make the effort to thank Impangele for my recent stay. Despite arriving in pouring rain which barely let up during my entire stay, the guest house (and cottage) were warm, welcoming and spotlessly clean. I had a lovely time relaxing with a coffee in the...

I stayed at Impangele in June 2015. The rooms are okay. I did not really enjoy my stay but I also did not totally dislike the place. I would say it is an average guest house with all the basics (the room where I stayed did not have an aircon, or a shower, or an electric blanket).

We stayed in Swellendam with Amanda and Dave again on our second trip to SA. It is a beautiful location. Amanda and Dave have taken enormous trouble furnishing the rooms to make them comfortable and attractive. They are great hosts providing an excellent breakfast and advice for any visitor. We loved staying with them and hope to be back.
