I previously visited The Pelican in 2016 and was booked in for 3 nights. Such was the quality of the stay and the welcome we stayed for 4. Wishing to explore the area more we re-visited this year and stayed at The pelican for 10 nights.

The room and entire facility was sparkling clean. We didn't eat at the lodge so we can't comment on the food. Ian, the operator suggested the Village Deli for a good light meal...

We were heading for George but decided to spend one more night indulging ourselves to end our overseas holiday. Very glad we did. Our host brought us a tray of very welcome tea to our room, even though there was a hostess tray, and we were able to sit on our private balcony and relax while watching the world go...

We thoroughly recommend this Lodge. There is great attention to detail and a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The breakfasts are delicious and the rock pool a wonderful place to relax and cool down after a hot day on the beach.
