I stayed on business, on a recommendation by a client.
For a city-slicker, the charm of the vineyards and views surrounding my lodgings was a treat. Situated on a wine farm, easily accessible from the main road (about 3 km), it is convenient and close to Robertson, where there a

We had a lovely wedding at Du Von Saturday (19/05/2018) and stayed over at the neighbouring farm Hanepoot Huisies @ Wederom. We were received so friendly and warmly by Nicola when we arrived at Wederom the Friday afternoon that we immediately felt right at home!
We (four adults)

Our family visited Wederom over the festive season last year and had a fabulous time on this guest farm. The staff is friendly and helpful without being overbearing, and very knowledgable about the area. Thoroughly enjoyed the typical Cape accents and culture of those working on

We stayed here in November 2016 and it was amazing then and I couldn't wait to go back in January 2018; however, it is now under new ownership and it was a big disappointment.

Good day Mr. Richardson Thank you for your feedback of your stay at Wederom Hanepoot Huisies. We are sorry that you had such a bad experience on our farm, and as mentioned in email communications after your stay, we sincerely apologize for your disappointing visit. We mentioned to you upon your arrival that with the serious drought conditions in the Western Cape, we are making use of canal water to fill up the pool, which is water that we use for irrigation. Our filter systems are adequate enough to clean most of the dust out, but as one would expect - the water is not 100% clear. There is not much we can do about the situation, and we expect our guests to understand our predicament. We apologize, once again, for the inconvenience caused to you by this. We appreciate your feedback regarding TLC to the rooms, and can gladly inform you that maintenance has already begun to keep our rooms up to the good standard that Wederom has held in years past. If ever you are back in South Africa, you are more than welcome to stay over at Wederom again, as our name translates... See you again!

owners were extremely rude to the people staying there for the benefit of others despite us all paying for the same service. There are better places around if you do a quick search, which is recommended.
